I know other people have said this, but I'll say it anyway: "Awww!" What a cutie! And it's wonderful how well he camouflages into the forest ground around him. *another reason why having a digital camera with you wherever you go is such a good idea, lol* ;D Thank you so much for sharing! Aww. That's pretty Lizard-girl you got to pet it. Erm...me thinks someone's been messing with the censor thingie again. XD ~Light Rises

*gasps dramatically, then * 'Tis all right, apology's accepted.;D And I'll have to admit that I DO like the fact that contacts don't magnify my eyes like my glasses do, LOL! *cracks knuckles* All righty...people who love themselves lead to narcissism, which leads to Greek mythology, which leads to the Eight Wonders of the Ancient World, which leads to the study of history, which leads to my interest in the American Revolution, which leads to the Civil War, which leads to the setting of some romance novels my grandma reads, which leads to Fabio on many of the front covers, which leads to I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! commericials. ~Light Rises

Oh, my... You can bet I'll be sending my prayers and best wishes to you. I have several family members who have chronic health problems too, and who had to deal with that whole flu shot debacle, so I have an idea of what that's gotta feel like. And yeah, that whole "pick-a-flu-strain-that-we-hope-will-protect-everyone-for-the-season" method is a pretty imperfect science, but what can ya do? The best advice I can give you is to take it easy, get as much rest as possible...and like Mirage suggested, try not to worry about that bill for now. Feel free to hang out here with us whenever you feel up to it (I'm on Spring Break now, so I should be checking in here much more often this week ). Take care, and I'm sure we'll all be keeping you in our thoughts. ~Light Rises

and no, it isn't an animal. My engine in my car is officially DEAD-as in caput, finis, over and out. It died on me while I was returning home from buying rats yesterday, full of oil, so no idea what caused it. Now, I have to figure out what to do next. There's no way I can afford a new vehicle, since with my animals, I have to have an SUV. I can't transport 100-lb. dogs or 400 pounds of dog food in a car, and pickups don't provide any protection for cargo. It will cost around $2000.00 to put in an engine from a junker, and that's still taking the risk that it will be damaged or ready to go bottoms-up itself. This has simply not been my last few days, *sigh*. On a positive note, my contract WAS renewed-there has been considerable talk of eliminating teacher positions due to budgetary problems, but fortunately mine has not been one of them, so far at least. Usually the Art, Music and other "special area" teachers are the first to go. pitbulllady Oy vey... -_-; Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place, huh? Dang, I wish I could help you out somehow. In any case, it's still very encouraging to hear that you were able to keep your job, and I have a feeling that things are gonna find a way to work out for you (yeah, me, the eternal optimist, lol). ~Light Rises

I think Cool's talking about those women who were convicted of having practiced witchcraft but really hadn't been, as happened during the Salem Witch Trials. That, or she means witches that weren't all "witches" in the sense of them all being "mean." Or...something. *looks to Cool* ~Light Rises

Hey...anybody ever see that show "Angry Beavers"? My positive favourite other than Spongebob *bows down*. What happened to it? Yup, I saw The Angry Beavers when it was on Nickelodeon, although I never really got into it. I'm pretty sure it was cancelled, though -- a pretty short-lived series, unfortunately. Episodes are still being aired on that "NickToons" channel (which only seems to be available on premium cable and satellite [sp?] channels), and Nickelodeon even aired a few episodes more recently, during that whole "old school" shtick when it was airing long-cancelled shows. But, yeah...it doesn't look like Angry Beavers is gonna come back. ~Light Rises

Zelda's in the Nevada Desert (as I would guess she is by now)? How neat! ;D I hope she's having a blast here in America, and while it's a possibility that we might cross each other's paths if she heads on over to California at some point, whether we'd recognize each other might be an entirely different story! ~Light Rises
