I guess I should catch up with everyone. So... How's life treating you guys? What colour socks are you wearing, currently? It's been treating me all right -- a little busy most of the time, but I'm on Spring Break now, so it's cool. And my socks? Actually...I'M NOT WEARING ANY!!! BWHAHA! ;D ~Light Rises

Hey, there! ;D I was starting to wonder if you'd vanished from existence or some such, but it's certainly nice to see you rejoining us! And don't worry too much about the "distracted" thing -- as they say, life happens, and it happens to even the best of us. I send a wholehearted "welcome back" to you, Beboots!^^ ~Light Rises

*is also confused* I have no idea, either. I've been working on a persuasive speech I have to give in class on Tuesday, and there's a couple other assignments I still need to get around to. So I guess everyone's busy with school stuff...? But that doesn't explain why there hasn't been whole lot of activity on DA and FF.net and such. *sigh* 'Tis a mystery for now, I guess. *shrugs* ~Light Rises

Since we seem to be doing some hand-shaking...*shakes Joy's hand* Glad to have you back, too. I'm also diggin' your new avvie and the quote. *snerk* Awesome.^^ Perhaps...but either side could still perform the infamous "Jedi mind trick": "I have done nothing to arouse your suspicions..."*in monotone* "You've done nothing wrong." "I'm obviously a citizen in good standing...""You're obviously a good guy. No need to bother you." "You're now going to leave and jump off a bridge...""I think I'll jump off a bridge now." *wanders off* ...Man, that was SO wrong. *is evil today* ;D ~Light Rises

I'm not much for changes either, especially big ones. But that's the nature of life, alas. *shrugs*

Ew...that DOES sound awfully annoying (and I'll especially have loads of fun with that on the days my internet access is limited and I want to post something ). But I have to guess that the "pro"s of the board upgrade are gonna outweigh any of the "con"s, huh? ~Light Rises

You might not be able to read this now, but I also wish the best for you, and that you'll have a good time in Missouri to boot! It's good to know you'll be peeking in on us one in a while, but I'll certainly miss you being a regular here. *hugs* ~Light Rises

Urgh. Lateness. >.< All right...since it's no longer your birthday, FONY...then a "very merry UNbirthday" to you! Woo! *blows party favor* ;D Oh, yeah, that's what everyone thought, but after some scientists did some extensive tests, they discovered that goldfish have pretty reasonable memories, weirdly enough. ;D Really? Huh, interesting...although, now that I think about it, is it just me, or is it sorta peculiar that people spent actual money on research to find this out? ~Light Rises

Yeah, apparently Spanish and French are really similar- a friend of mine used to take both, and both of her teachers would nag her for accidentally using the other language during lesson. I guess that has to do with Spanish and French both being Romance languages, which means they share many of the same Latin roots. Or something. Heh. ^^; ~Light Rises

To Mel: I feel for you, hon. And if you haven't already, take Beboots' advice, since it's all very, VERY good stuff (I couldn't have recommended anything better myself). So hang in there, 'kay? About languages and algebra: ...Y'know, it's weird, because I'm good at both subjects so long as I'm actually taking the classes (got A's in Spanish and Algebra in high school). But, BUT, as soon as I'm not studying them -- especially Spanish; there's something to be said about actively practicing a second language so you don't get rusty -- all that knowledge just seems to...evaporate. Poof. And then I feel dumber than a rock as soon as they come up again out of the blue. Bleh. *raps head futilely* ~Light Rises
