All right -- it's "catch-up" day! *cracks knuckles* Awww...*gets all warm and tingly inside* So sweet! I love your character design for Sandra, and it really seems that she and Randall would make a cute couple. Nice job, FONY! And I, too, sure hope you get your hands on a scanner soon (there are a bunch that sell for a pretty reasonable price now, under $70 or $80). ;D ~Light Rises

Not bad at all! It's a definite improvement from your stuff on RFU (and that was quite good already), and I also appreciate the "not-angry-Randall" expressions you drew; the poor guy gets enough of that already, lol. Very nice! And, yes, I do actually use simple skeleton and anatomy nowadays, when you go into drawing humans it becomes a habit for everything. Back when I used to draw Randall, it was just "start with drawing a head and go on nothing from there". I've since learned it's easier to work off of a basic "skeleton", so yeah, that's what all that sketchy mess is underneath the outlines. ^_^ Yeah -- learned all about that in my life drawing class, too. Just makes an artist's life (and getting the proportions right) easier, huh? I was comparing him to Ty in the scale meter, because I plan on doing a pic from my crossover fic sometime and CG-coloring it. Oh! Neat! I'll be looking forward to seeing that. ;D ~Light Rises

First: Thanks for the comments, everyone! *hugs all around*
Second: *nods to Zelda* Yeah, I tried that the first time around, but I had no idea where to find the URL for just the image, so I just ended up posting the link. If you could tell me how you found the image URL, I'd be a very happy geek.;D

I finally posted something on my deviantART gallery, although it wasn't what I expected. It was a pretty impulsive piece, rather quickly done while I was watching M.I. last night -- just something I felt I had to do. Here's the link (since I can't seem to figure out how to post the image itself here): www.deviantart.com/view/15325075/Any comments/critiques would be much appreciated. ~Light Rises

Ookie-dookie, Sean! Sounds like a plan. Oh, and FONY? You are absolutely NOT stupid. Chalk it up to a "blond moment," if you like (even though you're not blond...but I'm not either, and I'm the QUEEN of "blond moments" in real life! ^^; ). ~Light Rises

Well.... I was thinking of leaving the pictures the way they are and, below each page, write the discussion that's going on. My later pages have no balloons to distort images. Hmm...*rubs chin* That COULD work, except that it might get confusing for us, trying to make sure we associate the right bits of dialogue with the right images, y'know? But if you could find a way to make that clear, I could see it working. *nods* Oh! No problemo, amigo.^^ ~Light Rises

Can you guy's see the images, but not the words? I can see the pictures all right, but like you said, I'm afraid I can't read the words. ...Is there any way that you could crop the longer pictures, but before that make 2 or more copies of that same picture file so that you can crop them different ways each time? If your computer will let you do that, that might do the trick. *crosses fingers* ~Light Rises

Yeah; I can see why "eel" would come naturally, since Randall's original design IS very similar to an eel's: long, slim, and serpentine. I can sorta understand why your brother suggested a shark, but meh...an eel just seems to fit better. ;D

WOW! Randall really does look great here! This is one of the best Randall-head drawings I've seen you do, and the curves and implied movement of his eel-like body are very nicely done. And I agree: If Randall had to transform into a "fishified" form, then an eel would suit him perfectly.^^

All right...that comic RULES! I, too, think the expressions are very well done, and the dialogue is perfect: "...Second, NO AMOUNT of therapy can make this moment ok."*dies* ;D ~Light Rises

Wow! Quick turn-around! ...Whatcha talkin' 'bout, "one that's alot better"? NOW Randall looks doubly-dashing! Woo-hoo! *glomps 'im*;D The rich colors you used, and just the color scheme itself, look very nice. They make Randall's commanding presence in the original sketch even more, erm...commanding!^^; Again, nice work! ~Light Rises

Oh, he can keep the cape (since it DOES make him look quite dashing) -- just promise me he won't wear it ALL the time, lest he, too, gets the "Buddy-cape treatment"! *nods approvingly* A very nice incorporation of the suit onto Randall. He looks good indeed, and I'd like very much to see this one in color.^^ ~Light Rises

...Actually, I was going for a neutral expression, since I was still fine-tuning that particular style of drawing Randall when I did this sketch. I just didn't want to start getting into putting much of any expression on his face while I was still trying to figure out just how I wanted his face to look like, y'know? But I can see now how more can be read into it; I guess we could just call his expression "neutral/slightly mysterious" for now, until maybe I get around to a colorized version that might clear up things a bit.^^
Now that you mention expressions, though, at least that gives me the idea to do a Randall "expression sheet" soon, now that I've got a drawing style nailed down. Gone, any future confusion shall be! ;D
(Apologies for the above corniness; it's getting very late over here on the West Coast. ^^; )
