Well....after The War....you'd think they would have left....but then again they thought Man and Mon could co-exist.... Why do you think Dragons are near extinction, though have a great history?

Because humans always want to be the dominant race.

Well....No... Well...yeah kinda....since they didn't like the Mons and thought themselves superior....the reptiles still believed that the races could co-exist....which...well....cost them allot of dear things...

But I don't believe that ALL the lizard-monsters believed this and then ALL the other monsters didn't- surely there were some of each that believed what the majority of the other believed?

Well...most reptiles DID believe in this....and it is THAT belief that they got the reputation they did today. Those that didn't believe became crooks and robbers (note that this was a very small majority) and killers because the reputation of the believers led to a hatred by the other races. It's very complicated.... I'd uhh....rather explain it when the time is right....

Because humans always want to be the dominant race. ANY sentient race will want to be the dominant race-that's part of evolution. There isn't a species around anywhere that doesn't exploit other species for its own benefit. The trouble is with Mans and Mons(reptilian and otherwise)is that they were really the SAME species, so the rift is rather like Abraham Lincoln's analogy of a house divided against itself being unable to stand. Notice I use the word "reptilian" as opposed to "reptiles", since the first simply means that they have some of the same characteristics of reptiles, but are NOT reptiles. pitbulllady

Yeah, Man and Mon are like (and I hope no-one takes any offence by what I'm saying) 'Black' and 'White' people- both the same species, just...different in their own ways.

But yeah, just because lots of their own species might believe something doesn't necessarily mean that they believe it too, though they might pretend to to make sure that they weren't an outcast.

Why do you think Randall was rediculed for his beliefs?

I don't remember Randall being ridiculed for his beliefs in the movie...

Why do you think Randall was rediculed for his beliefs? What "beliefs"? I can recall Mike ridiculing him for him being behind in the Scare Boards and rubbing it in Randall's face that he(Mike)and Sulley were going to break the All-Time Scare Record, but nothing about Randall's beliefs. AND I'm talking about the movie here. pitbulllady
