I've just heard about this... Yeah. I must be VERY late to hear about this amazing series of books and such... But does anybody know the details on this? I know it's about a land frozen in eternal winter by the White Witch and Peter/Susan/Edmund/Lucy Pevensie are trying to stop her.....
But other than that....

I read that book in English class! It is about the girl, Lucy who discovered a hidden world behind the wardrobe. At first, her brothers and sister didn't believed her until they finally went through the wardrobe and they have to stop the White Witch with the help of Aslan the lion and a horde of centaurs, unicorns, those men with back legs of goats, animals and birds. It is a very good book!

Well, 'The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe' is the most well-known out of the Narnia books, but it certainly isn't the only one- I think there's six or seven others. But LWW is arguably one of the worst Narnia books, although that's the one Disney are making a film of.

NO NO. Disney's distributing it right? There's NO way Disney has the technology to make that one wolf....or any of the creatures for that matter....right?

a) There aren't any wolves in Narnia.
b) Disney have the technology to make a film, and surprisingly (!), they HAVE made it.
c) They've made ONE film, which is one of the SEVEN original Narnia stories.

I've read the books and there weren't any, though things might've changed with the movie- I haven't seen any adverts for it so I don't know what it's like.

I have now seen an advert for it, but I think it was the short one because it only had like two clips and then the title. I'm sure there's an extended one, I just haven't been able to see it yet.

Before seeing Harry Potter (good yet disappointing), they showed the long advert with the talking wolf, right? Narnia looks pretty good, though very dramatic!

Harry Potter was disappointing to you? I saw it and it looked good to me.

Well, most of the special effects were very good, and their acting has improved (although the girl who plays Hermione is SO annoying) but it didn't really flow well enough. I understand why they cut a lot out from the book, but if they're gonna make films out of Harry Potter in the first place, they must make it so that as a film in itself, people can appreciate it without having actually read the books.

I think I reallly should go see the Narnia movie, but I'm hesitant to do so until I've read at least the LWW book first (my dad forced me to read the entire LOTR triology at age ten before gong to go see the Fellowship of the Ring, and I'm glad I did).
