Oooh. I was reading in a National Geographic *or sumtin * Canadians actually do have an accent. Clinical studies show that we speak from the top of our throats and annunciate whereas Americans speak from lower down their throats tend to be a little more casual in speaking. Accent? Yahoo! I would love a 1955 Ladykiller's Professor Marcus nasally, drawling, hopelessly ceremonial English dialect. I'd just love to be in a grocery store and creep behind somebody and start shouting "MRS WILBERFORCE!" I don't know why. it's be awfully fun ps - If you haven't seen that movie you must rent it!

Hmmm...I've tried to conclude which is better, but I personally can't. The first Ladykillers was great. The comedy was more 50's esque, but the writing was still briliant - very creepy for it's darker parts. Great characters, all hopelessly stereotyped, but you can't help but fall in love with them. Almost thrillerish, I'd say. There's a screenshot in my lil pick o'er there (----- Second Ladykillers was also great. I nearly peed myself laughing. It worked so well - they nailed the part of an elderly church lady. The comedy was subtle and slapstick at the same time, although the language was really bad. I believe the F word was used by a character 74 times throughout the movie. It took away a little bit, but it was never used in a place it didn't fit the characteristics of the person. Only used by two or three people, I believe. Not Professor Dorr though! Again the characters were great. I fell in love with all of them. If you liked Randall, you should like both renditions of the movies, and the professors. ;D My two favoutite movies of all time! ooooh....long post.
