Yeah. I slowed the vid and saw he closes his eyes as he did it hehehe...he was excited before hand then got literally SPOOKED by whatever it was hehe. Considering what may happen PBL, that's my concern, maybe the main one, as well. Randall's...he has a lot of past issues. He tried being happy-go-lucky and nice, but got pulled in by the world, by ROR, and was beaten down. And yeah, that look, thanks Pistol for those screenshots...you can see...well I'll do my second-by-second analysis, and you'll see what I spotted. If you slow it down frame-by-frame it actually looks like someone bumps into Randall from behind, startling him, and yes, he does close his eyes, and there's this really freaky moment when some of his body is still visible and you can see his eyes closing, but most of his face is invisible already. You can also see his glasses move as he tilts his head while invisible, so they don't just "hover" there, but actually change position a bit...really cool effect! pitbulllady

Actually at first I thought somebody DROPPED something on his tail but....the distance doesn't match up for bumping, I'll check when I get there.

I can confirm that nobody dropped anything on him in the film. It was a sound of some sort made by that monster behind him that startled him.

Oh ok, now that you said it... At first it sounded like this meeting was IN the room, didn't know it was the hallway. Yeah I think it was the sound. Maybe the hallway was erieely quiet maybe.

No Randall moved remember? He came OUT of the room to greet him, heheh. And no... not really quiet. Everyone was moving in after all. It was just a noise louder than most, heheh.

A lot of the people on Tumblr are thinking that he has the hiccups, lol. If you watch this in slo-mo you can see that his glasses nearly fall off his face, he jumps so much!

I actually squealed out loud the first time I saw this trailer- specifically when we get to see Randy do his 'disappearing trick' as it's the first time we actually get to see him DO something in one of these trailers.
It kind of made it all more real...I mean, it's one thing seeing static images of him, but to see him in action just brings it to life. I guess it still hasn't sunk in yet that this is actually happening- there's more Randall and soon enough, we'll have seen him in college DOING STUFF.
Maybe it's because it's been such a long time since the first film, so we've mulled over all of this stuff for years, but it still seems very surreal. It'll probably take a good five or so viewings of the actual film for it all to sink in, for me, anyway.
Anyway, I'll stop rambling now.

Even though I've actually spoilt myself with some information about this film it hasn't really sunk in. Just seeing Randall in motion for a few seconds was so exciting, and the realisation of seeing him once again on the big screen is actually more than enough for me!! At this point, I think whatever Pixar threw at us regarding Randall, I don't think I could be that disappointed. Just seeing him back in action is amazing by itself! Okay I'll *try* to stop being such a fangirl now. Just wanted to share my own excitement and how much I relate to this Oh it's been such a long wait though!

I think we're sharing the same sentiment here. And I agree, just seeing him do stuff, seeing him BE RANDALL will be enough. And the fact that Randall isn't being portrayed as a bad guy means that it'll be worth the wait. But despite all of these logical thoughts and so on it still just seems like a total MIND **** if you know what I mean. I can't stop thinking about it all. He's there, our boy, we're going to see him again...It's like being reunited with a long lost friend or something. Really surreal indeed. So I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this!
