Well, as we see, Randall is roommates with Wazowski at the start...and that's in the freshman dorm. The bunk bed room is the one in Ooogma Slugga's fraternity house. (funny how a freshman dorm had a way better room huh? Though it IS Squishy's mom's house so...) So yes, they are two different rooms. Spare thought...since Wazowski gets kicked out and is with Sullivan...does this mean Randall gets a different roommate? (Another spare thought. Considering the shift from Randall with the cupcakes to Wazowski on a treadmill, maybe Wazowski was commenting to Randall he was going to lay off on the sweats to "get in shape" to take Sullivan on?) If Randall does get a new roommate part way through the movie, I wonder if it will be Fungus. I wonder if Fungus is even in this movie though....any remote evidence of him yet in the background anywhere during the trailers? I haven't noticed but maybe someone has if he's there. I actually saw a kid in the hallways today who had on a hoodie with that EXACT same pattern as Randall's luggage, a combination of plain fleur-de-lis and rows of fleur-de-lis surrounded by this sort of filigree circle(the bigger ones in the pattern), but the background was a sort of liver brown. When I asked, he said the hoodie came from Citi Trends and USED to be purple, but his dad washed it one day and put in bleach, not knowing that you DO NOT use bleach on dark colors(sounds like something a lot of men would do), so the color got messed up. I saw that pattern a LOT when I was in New Orleans, as it's pretty much "official" swag in the Big Easy. Maybe Randall had a fascination with that city, as I do, in spite of not being from there, which would kinda be ironic in a messed-up sorta way considering what happened to him. I'm wondering if maybe HE was the one who "turned on" Mike to jazz music, since we know that at least one of them, either Mike or Sulley, was a jazz fan in the original movie, based on all those jazz posters. One thing that's always struck me about Randall is that he marches to his own drummer, so to speak. He likes what he likes and doesn't follow trends, which has probably always made him an outsider. He'd be less likely to jump all over some form of very popular music just because everyone else liked it and more likely to stick with a genre that most of the younger monsters in college found "uncool" or odd.pitbulllady I like that about him. I've always felt that way myself with a lot of things. Also yeah....my dad messed up stuff with bleach before too. Not even just necessarily using it on something you shouldn't use it on....but he's messy and will leave droplets of it laying around the wash and so you have to be really careful you don't lean against the washing machine or set your stuff on it incase there are traces of bleach. My mom ruined a pair of pants that way before. They were her fav pants and she leaned against the washing machine and ruined them because my dad had left some bleach on there.

I did a second-by-second study of the trailer...and I did not see Fungus or Celia (the later of which I was surprised not to see in the football game). Of course there ARE some "crowd scenes", so there's still some consideration...

I was actually just thinking earlier that I find it very strange that we haven't seen a glimpse of Celia at all yet.

I imagined Celia as a cheerleader, which surprised me that she wasn't in the football bit. This, as I've done in a different posts, show Randall may have a deeper role in things.

Though seems the cheerleaders are....race-specific like the players...

Yes, the whole "born-to-be" kind of thing. I know technically it's a time saver... But I guess another way is to lessen the fact that Wazowski is NOT a scarer. He may get the knowledge, but he's not cut out to be it. That he can't be what he (initially) wants to be. And for a moral that can be kind of harsh (though "finding your calling" is probably the real moral, as he becomes a very capable assistant (to Randall??))

I know I said I wouldn't come on here any more, but I was watching the trailer for the nth time today (instead of doing my essay...doo bee doo...clearly not coming on the forums doesn't seem to be decreasing the amount of time I spend squeeing over new Randall stuff) and I noticed something that I just HAD to point out! Is that Randall's SLIPPER on that broomstick there? Hahaha! Also, I know it's a different thread but omgeee the Message from the Dean video is amazing and that sentimental touch of the statue and AAAAH SO MUCH GOODNESS. Anyone else notice that Randall's tail in that scene, when he touches the statue, looks much curvier and less bent/broken than usual? (Sorry if someone else has mentioned this on another thread, but I'm really trying not to spend too much time here haha.) ANYWAY, that's all I wanted to say. *flies away*

Ok, got a few screenshots from the Dean's message: First is Randall patting the claw of the statue outside the School of Scaring. Love the building teeth. Looks like everything filing in a line up to class. Mikey and Randall right by each other~ Second is Randall in Roar Omega jacket, singing the school song Seems to be looking off to the side for a sec, but that could just be in between frame/transition stuff, not an expression. Sadly missed his little head-nod to himself in transition, like he was going "mm-hmm. DAM proud to be here" ((in case pictures, don't work (sorry, not sure how they work on this) sta.sh/21qgeirfxx85?edit=1 ))

Hehehe LG...Randall's an addiction, and we're the ENABLERS! MUAHAHAHHA!!!
*blinks* OH YEAH...THAT IS 0_0 Oh no...is Randall trying to study...and somebody took his slipper? Actually...is Sullivan's "break-in" to their room have something to do with it? Oh man, Randall MAY indeed be the "butt-of-pranks" before Wazowski came in.
Randall's tail looks more curvy to me...but I'd have to watch the vid again. But I'm guessing the curviness means it's more...flexible? ===== If your having trouble Hatta...during your post, hit the IMAGE button you see and place your link between them. It should come out right, if not then yeah...different problem. Nice image catch there on the ending transition, real skillful catch!
Yes, Randall is looking off to his side. I mentioned he was so...focused as he was doing it at first and then, yeah, it seems something caught his eye that doesn't (appear to) catch anybody else's.

Enabling is the best sport, isn't it~ --
Maybe the slipper theft is just freshie hazing? Might be other character's stuff getting played with.
=====
Yeah, that's what I did, RB. Oh well, silly computer. St.ash shows them just fine, right?
Thanks! Gotta squeeze all the frames we can of our boy. I would what he's looking at... maybe some Mike/Sulley shenanigans?

As long as it's healthy heh heh. - WELL...here's something else about that shot...the bug guy...he's in ROR's fraternity. OR it could be somebody of the same race....or...he is the same guy and he just hasn't joined ROR yet... So maybe either this is just a wild party for new freshman as a declaration of being "free from home" or...dunno, hazing seems to be a fraternity thing and this freshman...I honestly don't know but yea, possibility. --- Yes, they show up fine on the stash. As said, good shot there in the transition.
Erm...maybe. If this IS the Scare Games, of which Sullivan/Wazowski (OK by extension) must win to get into the Scare Program, then they would be there...

Randall's colors are just more vibrant; you can so many more shades of purple, lavender, greens and blues that were never visible in the original, and not only that, but his scales look shinier, almost reflective and iridescent, like those of my White-Lipped Python. And I know that a lot of folks have claimed that they have never been able to see any scars on MI older Randall, but now that you have the younger version to compare to, it's obvious that the scars ARE there in the adult version, since they are missing here. His tail DOES seem more curved and less angular/bent, as well. I can only surmise that sometime between this movie and MI, something horrible had to have happened to him, physically.
