They can delete his files, and delete his knowledge of existance... but they can't delete the monster's (or human's) that love him! Though it does appear that not many monsters would have noticed, or cared about the fact that he had suddenly vanished from the face of the earth- they don't mention anything about it near the end of the film, when everything's fast-forwarded to when MI's been changed to collecting laugh power. But, then again, they might not have bothered to mention it just to keep it simpler, and make it seem really final that the 'villain' had been defeated. Well, what I ment by monsters was like his parents, siblings or girlfriend, if he had either.

Well aside from his brother and a deceased adopter, there was no other.

You know...a thought came to me...we...NEVER...heard a kid in that door did we.... True...Maybe it was a door that had been kept by Waternoose for the purpose of banishment, like the one that led to the Himalayas.

Then why was that one steel? For all purposes, it seems that Banishment doors are built that way.
Which leads you guys to question...WHY is there a Banishment Door in Monsters Inc. Or, in that way, having access to that door.

Or, in that way, having access to that door. That's sorta like asking, "why is there a meth lab in that trailer park?" Obviously, the "banishment door" was illegal-something Waternoose kept handy just in case he needed to get rid of any trouble-makers, anyone who might "snitch" on his plans, or got "too big for their britches", as we say around here, or refused to be a good little slave/employee and follow Big Daddy W's orders to the letter. The question is not so much why the door was there, since knowing what we do know about Henry J., but how many monsters he'd illegally thrown through it, and how many MORE he intended to push through it.pitbulllady
