I decided to release one final video, which is meant to show how we think in that Randall isn't evil. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1n1CvX8KP4oAlso, those of you who DID see the thread I deleted my posts on, I'm still accepting input. I just felt it would be easier this way to understand what it was about. Keep in mind, though, that if changes are needed, I won't be able to make any for a few days starting tomorrow.

Very good...keep reminding viewers that Mike and Sulley are no saints themselves, and that THEY did something very wrong, something that was NOT "self defense". The ONLY reason that Randall got labeled a "cheater" was because of Mike mistakenly thinking that's why he was out there on the Scare Floor, even though company policy not only allowed working overtime to collect Screams, but ENCOURAGED it! One correction, though: the MAIN reason why Randall tried to kill Mike and Sulley, even after giving them a chance to get themselves out of this mess, was because he was ORDERED to do so by Waternoose, and while it was obvious that there was no love lost between him and his boss, it was equally obvious that Waternoose held some sort of power over him, a power no doubt fueled by fear of what would happen to him should he disobey Waternoose's orders.

Version 2 up and running! I've added your correction about Waternoose's orders, and I've added a few other details as well: Randall being an orphan, receiving minimum wage, and Waternoose double-crossing him by attempting to hand him over to the CDA. By the way, when I said I would be unable to change the video starting today, I meant later today. Thanks for the comments. ;D EDIT: Finally remembered to add the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPfbxY4BIos

*taps foot*....Ok...I'll say it. Pixar Planet is doing a FanMade video contest...Sgtyayap...if your a member or not...you could enter in it with your vids and see if you can win. Though even if you don't, you'd still win by getting the word out with the vid because people will HAVE to view it to judge. *blinks*...Though at this point, you might not want to note that the videos are in response to the comic and Randall's return in M.I. 2. I'll handle the working of that. Once a fair amount of people view your vid (if they are informed it IS about Ran and for his good nature, some may not view it out of simple spite), if you decide to put it on there, I'll track the commenting as well as see from there. Not sure what the prize is...Oh yeah...didn't I mention there's talk of an actual prize? ^_^

I would love to join the contest! Of course, that would probably mean changing a few things, but it's still doable. In any case, I can't help but notice that the contest is not listed on Pixar Planet's "Contests" page. Is it just because I'm not a member? (Yet )

*nods* Yes. We DO want to point out the truths (which well...honestly is nearly everything), but don't want to sound pushy and give the impression we're making things up (which we clearly are not, as you will show in your video (from what I've seen you've done a great job of showing these points). You'll have to be a member yes....and I think request to be in the "Video club" which to me is just them added a small badge below your name, shouldn't be too much trouble. The contest is under the Fandom section...I think it's under Fan Commentaries...

Didn't find anything about contests in the Fan Commentaries section; however, I DID find posts in the Fan Videos section that implied that it was upcoming. (The topic is "A Possible Contest???")

Yep, that's the one...it was on as a latest post when I checked it so was unsure where it actually was. I only glanced at the details, however...but the prospect of you coming with vids in the past few days and this contest popping up is an ironic conincidence that I think shows good promise.

Also just found when it starts (last day of August) That will definitely be enough time for me to work on it.

Update: I've just found that the contest is also going to focus on a certain theme(s)! Is this going to be a problem regarding submitting my video?

*taps fingers* Hmm...I don't think it should...sure there's some theme we can work with. I saw a Character theme on there if I recall, music-wise...sure we can work with that...and there was also a Story category...sure making a sort of hybrid of those two themes isn't out of bounds.

I looked at the contest again...and I think we can get the story-based theme through. Afterall, we ARE literally telling a story, one most of them don't know. So yeah, I think we can work it that way. Of course when you do enter it, be a little vauge in the description, saying that "it's about one of the characters from M.I." or something along those lines. Once people view, you can start giving specifics. Of course this suggestion lets more people view your vid without being offset it's about Ran and the truths around.

Submitting it under the Story category was actually EXACTLY what I was thinking! ;D
As for the description for the video, I think being vague is actually a good idea as well, especially considering most people don't like Randall.

*Chuckles* I had predicted as much hm hm.
*nods* Exactly. Though, however, me and Pitbulllady have managed to sway a couple to understanding...there may be those stubborn enough not to look at it at all if it shows Ran in a good light. So taking this precuation into consideration, we stand a better chance of slyly getting the point across.
