Who else here is a Sean Connery fan? I think he was awesome when he voiced Draco for Dragonheart and he was really cool in the other movies he's been in. I don't like James Bond much, but SC was in those movies as the original James Bond, he was King Arthur in First Knight, King Richard the Lion-hearted in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and Indy's dad in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade...
Who else likes him, if anyone?

I think he's pretty cool, though I'm not a fan or anything. Was it him that was in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen?

Yes it was!! The only reason that movie got any bad reviews was because Sean Connery's character died, you know....

Personally, it wasn't my kind of a film, though it was pretty original. And Sean Connery was a James Bond before, wasn't he?

Wasn't he though? Most of my friends hadn't seen Dragonheart until I had a birthday party and I invited them over. Two of the guys heard his voice and they were all like "WTF Is that Connery?" I kind of nodded and one of them said "Aha!" while the other says "Sean Connery is a sexy dragon!!" I just was like....0.o

It took me a while to take in his voice as the dragon because, well, it just seemed so improbable and Sean Connery is very recognisable by his voice, so for the first ten minutes, I just kept thinking of him. But after a while, I sort of got used to it.

Sean Connery is awesome. Has anyone here ever seen "The Rock"? He plays the only guy who's ever successfully escaped from Alcatraz, and is a so completely crazy but awesome criminal mastermind... And he's recruited to break back into Alcatraz to stop this hostage situation in exchange for amnesty... Oh, so good. ^_^
I love Connery's voice. I've only ever seen a few of his more recent movies, though (loved him in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen), so I've only ever seen him acting elder guys.

Really? That's awesome! ;D I wasn't really named for anybody; my middle name is my grandma's middle name, but I think that's because my mother simply liked the sound of "Anne".

"I" was named after Sean Connery actually ^_^ *gasps* Wow, cool! It was funny, I was just thinking about that before I came on this board- that you and Sean Connery share the same name. ;D I wasn't named after anyone, and the only reason my middle name is Lucy is because it begins with the same letter as my first name. But I tell you, if I ever have kids, I'll actually THINK about the name I give them rather than just going with whatever pops into my head at that time! ;D

And go witha name that people can spell on the first try - not like "Kaieleighe". I automatically spell out my last name now, because nobody has ever spelt it correctly - Markewicz. Sounds like a swedish pastry. -_-;
