I really liked this movie. Different mammal species trying to live together reminded me of Monstropolis. This movie ranks almost up to MI.

So maybe like the 63 1/2 years between Bambi and Bambi 2?

We are coming up to the time when Xmas music will be ubiquitous. I am already listening to it on Music Choice. But even lovers of the genre like me have one that just grates on the brain like fingernails on a blackboard. And I'm sure even those of you who hate the songs have one they hate most. So what are yours? Mine is Michael Buble's "Santa Buddy"...a weak takeoff of Santa Baby (already not particularly liked by me): www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOglC5_iLJs

This book describes not cryptids or fictional monsters, bur paranormal entities that people keep encountering, divided up into a surprising number of classes, and what to do if you encounter them. Pixar monsters seem to be most like what he calls "chimerae", the rarest and strangest of the classes. They seem to be geographically restricted, but he is able to say little else conclusively. Examples are Jersey Devil, Mothman and chupacabra.

Did you catch this last night? One of the episodes had Bart (and Lisa!) going to school in Hell. The place looked just like it was based on the Monsters World! And the even had a cameo by Hot Stuff the little devil...I forgot all about him!

If I understand correctly, MU is a university established by Monsters Inc. to train scarers. Are there actual universities like that? Started by corporations?

People, I have put a lot on my site over the years, and I just spent the whole day trying to update it. Let me know if it looks OK, if you would. Thank you. And BTW, I give a shoutout to the forum!

Since MU is a prequel, how should the movies be shown on TV in the future? Showing MU before MI might spoil foreshadowing jokes, like Number One's "always watching" at the end, which would not be as funny if you hadn't seen MI first. And the original audience saw MI first. Even though MU occurs first.
