Well I still like to think of Randall's as complete invisiblity though. The guy doesn't like it being insulted ^_^

She could very well have hidden her abilities from Buddy, but it seems as though he would be aware of her methods of luring other Supers to the island, and approve of it. Like I said, if her abilities were mental, rather than physical, he would not have even thought of her as a Super, since his scope of understanding the meaning of that word was limited to physical abilities only.
Many weeks ago, another poster on IMBD suggested that perhaps Mirage had been one of his intended victims-that he had hunted her down, or lured her to the island, with the intention of killing HER, and in what Experiment 625 would term a "plot twist", ended up falling in love with her instead, and pursuading her to help him in his quest to destroy all Supers. The only way it makes any sense for her to help him is that she either hated other Supers herself, OR was so blinded by her emotions that she was willing to do anything to hang onto this particular "sugar daddy".
Darn it, Iger bet start sucking up to Steve Jobs, so we can have a decent sequel to answer all these questions!

Maybe he thought her skills were metal. Perhaps her physic-type powers is what makes her and Bob "similar" not the "same".
Yep. Mirage and Randall each have their own movie.
Better yet.
A movie about Mirage. A movie about Randall getting his point of view.
And.... A crossover ^_^

A crossover... ;D I like the sound of that. Psychic-type powers....xD She sounds like a pokemon!! But seriously, yes, a sequel is most definitely in order to answer those questions. The theory postulated by that other IMDb poster (I didn't read it) is very intriguing. But we can't say anything for certain until there IS a sequel!

Well we know Randall HAS to have a sequel.
Lets see for Mirage....
Well... Buddy's alive. We don't know much about her past. We do know everyone else's.... Well..... Boo was similar to them wasn't she? Maybe a crossover would be something.....maybe it is possible....
*sigh*
Jeez....I just came up with my crossover idea...boy....

The plot twist sounds plausible, and yeah, a sequel would be the only way would could find out for certain. ;D

But with what Pixar have been saying recently, it sounds like Brad is the only one who wants a sequal. ;D

The Incridibles? Well if he wants....he gets ^_^ SERIOUSLY! You can guarantee that if Brad Bird goes to ANYBODY and says he has this great idea for "The Incredibles 2", they aren't going to refuse to let the man make his movie! He is such a household name right now it's not even funny. I just hope that they don't wait so long. pitbulllady

Boy, you should see the fight they have when she finds he's still alive ..... yeah, I tried to kill him but I couldn't. xP My friend says I liked the creep too much ... lol Speaking of which, are you going to update your fic on FF.Net, the one in which Buddy and Mirage have a daughter? I can imagine that this couple WILL have quite a nasty quarrel, once she gets over the shock of him NOT being dead. They have a lot that needs to be gotten out in the open, if this thing is going to work. There's that little incident in the containment room that got under Mirage's skin so badly(can't say I blame her, either); I watched it today, up close, on my computer where I can pause it. She actually had tears in her eyes when she gets up off the floor and looks at Buddy, and he just doesn't get it-too busy enjoying his little "victory" in what basically amounted to a "p***ing contest", like two male dogs challenging each other. And then, HE ain't gonna be too happy when he learns who helped his former idol and family escape to the city, is he? Yeah, the emotional tension released in this little "lovers' schpit"(quoting Lisa Douglas from "Green Acres')is gonna rival the last eruption of Mt. Pinotubo! But, if they can weather this particular hurricane, their relationship ought to become really strong, since they really won't have anymore nasty little secrets to get in between them...at least until her long-lost brother shows up! Speaking of Buddy, I really noticed(love this close-up screen and pause/slow feature on my new USB DVD player)how quick and agile HE is! Right after he reintroduces himself to Bob(after the Omnidroid kicks Bob's butt), Bob uproots a tree and throws it at him, REALLY fast, and Buddy just dodges it-WITHOUT using the rocket boots-with as much ease as Randall dodging the Scream Extractor when Sulley threw it at HIM. Now THAT is pretty darn impressive for a human, and one who's not supposed to be a "Super" human, at that. Either Buddy has had some serious Martial Arts training, or he DOES have natural abitities quite beyond those of ordinary humans after all, and just doesn't realize it. I mean, most of those geek-types have trouble not tripping over their own feet just walking around, but then, all the ones I've known were either these scrawny little runts or really, really overweight, not the least bit muscular and athletic. pitbulllady

Story? What story?
Well Randall himself did have some martial arts training as well.....Na...not in a shop or anything. But another reptile though....
Oh! I clinched the deal.
Mirage IS a super. Her opening dialouge where Bob opens the package. She say's "Were a common, as far as the government is concerned, WE don't exist". Not exactly that, but close enough. Why would Mirage want to mention she was being hid by the government if she didn't have powers?
BAM I'm good!

The story I'm referring to is "The Truth", I think. It was originally a "one-shot", but it screams "UPDATE", as much as the movie screams "SEQUEL"!
Mirage's line on that recorded video thing(now, WHY DIDN'T Bob KNOW that thing was going to self-destruct?)doesn't necessarily mean that she was trying to convince him she was Super, only that she was part of something that the government wanted kept secret, like the identities and locations of Supers. I still do think she WAS a Super, though. I watched the part where she appears in the office; you can see her shadow when Bob passes her, but not HER. He just walks right past her, and then as soon as he does, another employee does, and nobody notices her. She just sashays right into his office with not one person taking any notice of her whatsoever. How do you NOT notice someone who looks like that? Her line DOES, though, make me really wonder if what she said might really HAVE been true-that both she AND Buddy could have indeed been working for some secret government agency(reminiscent of "The Shop" in Steven King's novels). While his vendetta against Supers and his plan to make everyone "Super"(at which point, no one would be)was most certainly entirely his own, you have to wonder about that stuff Buddy invented. I mean, when did that boy have time to SLEEP, for crying out loud? Makes me wonder if HE didn't have his own "Henry J. Waternoose" lurking in the shadows back in Washington, DC. I think there is far more involvement of the government, or at least the military, in what was happening on that island than the movie directly let on, and I absolutely DO NOT trust that "Rick richarder" dude, the one who looks like a skinny Richard Nixon. I dunno, there's just something about him that troubles me a bit.
