Hey guys! My brilliant ideas have hatched yet another story! This one is based on an alternate ending. What if Sullivan and Wazowski didn't come back after Randall let them fall to the ground? Well....this is what this story answers ^_^ At first, it starts off quick, but then it gets really emotional. Remember that Boo is scared of Randall still.....
Enjoy! Oh! And....for those who see me using "kid" all the time...well that's part of the story. Boo and Mary will come up later. Oh! And Randall didn't make the first part, that was me doing him.
Enjoy ^_^
“I don’t know how to start this”. “I’m sure by now you’ve learned how to read….you amazed me for the time we were together to you know…”. “Anyway….you may not remember me…..but then again I guess you do….in your nightmares or in your dreams you saw me coming through your closet door and scaring you half to death….”. “Sorry if I hurt ya….it was just my job….”. “But then again that doesn’t seem like a good excuse does it?”. “Anyway….I put this book here so you’ll know what I did for you a long time ago….so that you won’t still think of me as someone who will hurt you….but as someone who cared for you…..”. * Between Fear and Love * Chapter 1 Runaway Reptile “I had gotten rid of them. Those two. Sullivan and Wazowski. I finally got rid of them. I had hopped onto another door with you in my arms, right ones anyway., As the door slowly sailed, I reminded myself not to look back. I heard the echo of the door crashing to the ground and splitting into several pieces. I thought I would be happy that I had gotten rid of them. But as we slowly came closer to the platform, I began feeling a sort of….un-fullfilment….I didn’t feel happy. I hated them. Sure. They destroyed everything. Why wasn’t I happy that they were gone? No. I was guilty. I had never killed anyone in my entire life. I remember pledging not to as a kid, learning killing was bad and all. But I guess I was so angry I let fury get the best of me. I didn’t know. I gave them a second chance but I didn’t know……”
* Randall starred at the door that he had jumped onto, deep in thought. It was almost as if the world around him didn’t matter to him anymore, His thoughts of guilt for what he had just done. Thoughts of fear for the future. Thoughts of uneasiness of what to do now. He didn’t know what to do. The kid wiggled in his left arms, warning Randall he was losing his grip. He pulled his arms up more and got his hold back, making the kid stop. He didn’t hold too tight, but not too loose either.. He reminded never to let go of her. He didn’t want her getting hurt, as he never did. When everything had started, Randall could see the difference in opinion of human children that he and his boss Waternoose, the true leader of this ordeal, had. Randall knew humans were as smart as monsters, sure. But he also knew his job as a scarer. Already knowing kids weren’t toxic, he just did his job. He did think of humans as a source though, as Scarers should. Never talk to one and never engage in anything with a human child. Randall never had. Waternoose, on the other hand, thought of humans as pure animals. As something to milk profits and scream from. He was a beast. And at first, to Randall, he seemed like a great CEO. But when he was forced into this business, Waternooses’s happy exterior revealed the cruel hearted beast he was. Randall took a moment to look around the door vault again, seeming to be fine now with the kid. So many doors. So many. It was an endless field of energy. Randall had come to realize something interesting. He had seen into what Waternoose thought of the whole race of humans. Randall could see every door becoming a vat with humans inside them, each one having their fears being repeated over and over again till they scream themselves to death. They would just take the human and throw them away, readying for the next human child to be born…. Randall shook his head, looking back at the door, mostly to it’s right side to see the platform coming up. Once he got to it, he would look for the kid’s door and get her back through it. Randall nodded to himself. Yeah. That’s what he was going to do. That’s what he had been planning since he got in the vault with the upper hand. He wanted to end all this madness. His hard work had already been destroyed. His fronds slowly rested back on his head, showing his depression. Yes. Everything had been. His machine that took away any social life he had, the machine that he had nearly worked himself to death for. Destroyed by his most hated adversary. Of course, Randall knew it wasn’t destroyed. It was heavily damaged and would take months to prepare. But the fact of the matter is, Randall wasn’t going to do it. No. Waternoose could fire him, sure. But he would never get involved in something like this again. He wanted it all to end. He didn’t want to hurt anybody, but these events led him to. Sure. He would loose the job he had wanted since he was a little kid. He would probably lose any good reputation he had thanks to the media if they got wind of his involvement. But he would also lose the chance to find something that meant the world to him….. The platform came up, the outer railing of the edge passing by his side. He made careful note to not let the kid get hit by it as he slowly got onto the platform, making sure to hold the kid tight so he wouldn’t loose grip. She squirmed in his arms a bit, seeing solid ground beneath them. Randall didn’t let go, just looked at her for a moment. One of the things he did want to do was hit himself in the face for what he almost did to her. He didn’t want to hurt her, but he had not used the Scream Extractor either. What if it…. Randall shook his head, adjusting his arms as best as he could, letting the kid stop her squirming. He turned around, making sure his tail didn’t get caught in the door he had been on. As it passed by, he watched as it went down the rail, reading to head into a row of doors. For some reason, Randall felt a slight feeling of fear for that door. As if something would have happened in it. Something that would have changed his life for the worse. That would have changed the whole Monster World for the worse. He quickly shook the feeling off, looking about the countless row of doors. He had seen which rail the kid’s door had gone on. All he had to do was find where it was…. His emerald eyes squinted at the light shinning through the windows. The bright light wasn’t good for him. “(Come on……there!)”. Randall’s grin plastered on his face as he spotted the door at the front of a row far across the gap of the Door Vault. Finally. All he had to do was get onto another door, climb to the row, and put the kid back in the door, and everything’s over. “(Great! Now all I have to do is…..what the….no!)”. Randall’s left hands became fists as his jaw became tight. The door extended out from the row, now getting onto the railing. Randall had to turn around, his eyes pinned on the door as it went through a series of close rails. After watching for about a minute or two, he finally saw where it was going. “(Someone called it?!)”. Randall growled, getting a slightly whimper from the kid. He ignored it for the time being. He kept hold of her and ran. Running to an inner section, he ran along side as the door past swiftly by. Running up, slightly tripping at first, a set of stairs at the end of the vault, Randall got up into the tunnel, looking down in it, seeing the door escape from view, turning away. He scampered up into the tunnel, walking with four feet and firm grip on the child. *

Randall got to the end of the tunnel, getting down on all eight. He made sure his hands were over the kid’s back so she wouldn’t get up and run. She laid on her stomach beside him, slowly hiding whimpers. Randall would have tended to this, that is if he hadn’t set eyes upon what was in the Scare Floor as the door came to a stop in a station. “(No….he….)”. Randall felt his breath getting rapid. There, standing beside the door was his boss. The one who forced him into all this. Waternoose. And surrounding him were none other than the C.D.A. Many questions filled Randall’s head, but also rapid answers as well. “(He…..he had it all…..no…..)”. Randall knew Waternoose didn’t like him. Waternoose had once been kind to him earlier in his career, but now….Randall knew that that was lies. Waternoose’s promises. They were too good to be true. But Randall was willing to believe anything then. He was desperate. Sullivan had stolen his title. But not only that. Randall lost any extra money he gained. Leaving bills climbing. Sure. He lived in a reptilian apartment. He could pay the rent. But the food, electric, and such things weren’t that kind to him. Waternoose’s promises would take care of that, which is why Randall believed them…..he had been blinded. He dipped lower, reminding himself to shift his eyes to the kid every other second, as Waternoose opened the door with one hand and looked in. “Blast! They aren’t there!” he yelled, closing the door harshly. “The one’s responsible Mr. Waternoose….” one sarcastic agent said, getting a hit in the side from another. “(He had a back up plan……me as a scape doll!!!!)” Randall yelled in thought. He growled, getting a whimper from the kid. He would have minded but…. “Search the Vault! They cant have gone far!” Waternoose yelled, pointing out of the Scare Floor. Waternoose remained as the agents ran out. Randall stayed where he was, the child shaking beside him. His eyes were focused on Waternoose, the betrayer. He watched as Waternoose looked at the door, an angry scowl on his face, Randall not noticing the overhead red light becoming black. “I knew I shouldn’t have trusted him….” he started. His voice echoed enough in the unpopulated floor enough so Randall could hear. “This was far too important…I never would have thought he would actually have joined them….poor James….that light heart of his….” Waternoose started, looking at the door with hands behind his back. “(Err…some “second father”…)” Randall thought. “First that boy’s brother disobeyed me…and now…..” he started with a shaking of his head. “Ah…Once I explain this to James….I’ll take care of Boggs personally….only a matter of how far he can run from me….”. Randall grinned. “(You don’t know how close I am…)” he thought with a grin. He could take on Waternoose right now and leave. But then again…. He turned his head to the kid in his hands. No. He had to get her back. That’s what he planned. He saw only half of her. Her eyes forming scared tears. He was feeling a sense of uneasiness, which was the feeling he had had when around her. He didn’t let his feelings get the best of him right now. He would give Waternoose something to remember him by. Then he would return the kid and get out of Monsters Inc. before the C.D.A. even arrive. But how would it go?
Next chapter is Randall giving his little something to remember by to Waternoose, realizing he can't get the kid back, and you may all learn a bit about Waternoose.....

Ooh. I like this "Alternate Ending" story so far! Sounds just like Randall would tell it. I love how you show Randall's more sensitive side and his fears of hurting Boo. I also like how you started the story off too, it was a nice introduction into the story.
(P.S. LOL! I was laughing at some parts where W a t e r n o o s e was replaced with Waternoose! That censor's great fun at parties. lol.)

Yeah....Randall would have told it....except well....this didn't happen for him..... He's still a bit hurt by it....never having to have apologized to Mary.....
Eh....anyway.
Yeah. I made it sound like Randall was telling the proluge of each chapter. The ending will give the reason for it ^_^
Yeah. You can expect the difficulties Randall would have. Not having a kid of his own. Not having a mother or father to have taught him. Top it off with the kid being scared to death of him and you got yourself trouble.
But still, Randall knows he's now the only one to protect her.

I am loving this story so far! I just get sorta aggravated at this censor thing-makes it hard to read at times, so I guess that until someone changes it, you'll have to type W a t e r n o o s e, instead.

I thought I told you all to change Waternoose back.... Anyway. Thanks Pitbulllady ^_^
I was afraid at first that I wouldn't get this right. But as I was doing the next chapter I was really enjoying it.
Next chapter features Randall and Waternoose going into an all out brawl (which actually Randall finishes early), but then Randall realizes SOMEONE had been watching the fight............ Well in the end he lets emotions and sudden overconfidence at that time to get the best of him.

Next chapter! Now everyone. This one I LOVE. Randall gets the beat down on Waternoose and has an engaing talk as well beforehand. But also, Randall realizes something about Boo. But before he could establish it, he is forced to show his terrorfying side to her. Comment on that scene for me, when he comforts Boo. I love the title too. Tell me what you think
Chapter 2 When The Dog Has The Gun Randall reviewed his options as they passed by. He HAD to get the kid to her door, but in order to do that, he had to take care of Waternoose. The raving lunatic was still inside the floor. But then Randall reminded himself. After he had taken care of Waternoose, he had to make sure he didn’t get into the door again. So after he put the kid back, he would break the door. From there….Randall didn’t know. But he went for it. He got onto four again, making sure the surface he was once on didn’t scratch the kid. She was still muffling. Randall sighed slightly, holding a hand over her mouth, enough so her whimper wasn’t heard by Waternoose. Randall held his own breath as he went over the edge. As soon as he came near the end of the long jump, Randall’s back feet caught the wall along with his front. They stopped instantly, Randall’s bottom left hand holding to the ground. He was lucky, Waternoose had his back turned. Getting his feet and tail off the wall, Randall went over to the nearest desk, crouching beside it and watching Waternoose. When he was sure he wasn’t looking back, Randall looked back at the kid. Taking his hand away, he could tell she was really afraid. “(Ehh…it’s ok….you’ll get home soon….)” Randall thought, wishing he could say it out loud. He knew he couldn’t take care of Waternoose with the kid in his arms, so he had to be trustful. He let go of he, moving back a bit and placing all hands to the side of her costume. Her arms went up to wipe the tears from his eyes as Randall shot a look at Waternoose before look at her. “Stay here ok….you stay right…here…” he said, mainly in an order tone, which he didn’t want it coming out as. “Ok?” he asked. The kid sniffled and nodded, still at a whimper from looking at Randall. With a sigh, Randall knew he had to watch out for the kid as well as Waternoose. He switched to his compassion to anger as he got up onto four. The kid watched as she saw Randall taller than her. Those purple scales over shadowing her. Though Randall didn’t see, she coward behind a trash bin that looked like it had just been replaced by the monster, had having the last one been eaten. Randall gripped his hands into fists, his teeth barred, looking at Waternoose. Of course, the kid took this in as if directed at her, making herself pull further into the cover of the dark shadows. Raising up his top shoulder scales as if rolling up sleeves, he marched over to the true Villain. The one who started this madness. Randall’s silent cupped feet gave him even more pleasure in what was to happen. His fingers loosened to crackle their knuckles silently. His teeth barred and looking like a clear white sheet. His tail curling and then shook back out. His emerald eyes slowly turning to a darker shade of green. He was angry about all this. And he knew exactly who to take it out on…. * Waternoose turned to look up at the board of the Scare Floor, his mind racing for worry of his plan falling. It seemed almost perfect. The unsuspecting fool. The last Boggs to be the patsy. Waternoose had no idea who else to turn to for the Scream Extractor. He did not trust Randall, but he was perfect to make the machine. His whole family was perfect in….“perfecting” the scare industry. Randall was the last, and Waternoose did not want him betraying him. But now, he feared Randall had. Joining James and his little assistant…. Waternoose hated them all. James and Wazowski had ruined it all. If they had not got involved than he wouldn’t had had to hurt James. But he to do it. Even close friends seeming like family could not destroy his goal. And Boggs of course. Waternoose pitied him. He pitied, he smirked, and he hated. But so far, Waternoose thought he was in the clear….so he thought. “(Ha ha….that poor boy….so naïve…all I had to do was tip the scale heh…in James’s favor….)”. Pity. “(And father told me a Boggs was more intelligent than most CEO’s in the industry….what a laugh)”. Smirk. “(But he went so far to betray ME? How dare he do such a thing….that imbecilic scaley….)”. Waternoose knew allot about Randall’s family. As did his father. And his father’s father as well. Randall was easy to manipulate. He hid his orphan past well, but he couldn’t from Waternoose. His employee file showed that. Of course, Waternoose also knew of his rivalry with Sullivan. A little tip of favor and Randall lost everything. Waternoose had a laugh about that. The way Randall looked when he came to realize it was shown to be impossible for him to beat Sullivan. Randall was the best scarer. Waternoose didn’t like him being one anyway. He only hired Randall for the extractor. Build up the boy’s dreams then take them away….and once he had gotten from Randall what he needed, get rid of him. And since he was the last Boggs. Who would care? Waternoose chuckled. He had thought many would call him a demon. An evil villain who would even sacrifice his friends for money. Destroying anyone in his path that dared to defy him. The whole Waternoose clan had risen up to the class of royalty. Most of the successes in the industry were made by the dead, but patented by Waternooses. Waternoose chuckled again. Poor Randall. He had no idea. His whole clan died one after the other. Leaving behind rich rewards. Yet he was so naïve and too young to understand the truth. Boggs was more important of a monster than he had thought. He had a grand purpose he was no aware of. Waternoose did not know much, but it was true. But Randall had been lied to, like all young monsters. Many lies spin the web. Funny how a spider makes one no? There were several hidden truths…. The Scream Extractor for one. Sure. It would have saved the company and increase scare output through the roof. But it also had a second purpose. One the C.D.A. and yes, even ScareCo.’s leader wanted. One that all the elders wanted. Again. Poor Randall. Waternoose wanted to see his face….. Sure. Fungus wasn’t affected. But that’s because he was a monster…but then again, Waternoose wanted to see….. The face Randall would make when he saw the little girls life fade. And he would witness her dead in the chair. * “Tables have turned….”. Waternoose whipped around, shocked. “Mr….Waternoose….”. Waternoose looked with wide eyes at the monster starring at him. Arms out at vertical angers, fingers into fists, fronds perked to the top. Randall had wanted this reaction. He loved the face of fear Waternoose had for that split second. Still, now, it was only a split second. Waternoose shook his head, blinking each eye. “Oh….oh! Randall….your…..your safe” he said quickly, trying concern. Randall took a moment. The old fool. He was playing the trick card. Waternoose straightened, looking as commanding as possible. “Ahem so you took care of them I propose…” he asked. Randall didn’t answer, just circled Waternoose, placing all hands behind his back, placing the back of each right hand into the palm of the left. “How funny isn’t it…” Randall started, his raspy voice turning to one of slyness. Waternoose watched with confused eyes as Randall looked away, seeming to think of words he already had. “I knew this was trouble from beginning….”. He shot Waternoose a glare before looking back ahead, still circling. “Heh heh…at first I knew it was….but then you gave me all these promises….” Randall said, grinning and shaking his head. “Oh….an executive….no….maybe a Top Scarer with a high raise…..I mean sure…the Extractor was YOUR idea….but I made it…that has to be worth something…”. Randall stopped, looking at Waternoose. “Don’t you think?”. He continued circling. “But then….I saw myself getting sicker by the day….always wondering how the “Great James P. Sullivan” got ahead me…..it tackled by brain everyday I worked on that machine….I nearly killed myself you know….”. Randall chuckled. “Oh….but then….The Great James and his little olive got into this small…scheme and began messing it up…..oh what trouble they are….but I guess hating their guts like I do doesn’t compare to tricking your “favorite scarer” into thinking he’s part of the family does it?” Randall said, rough. “But in the end….yes….they did fall…literally…..but you know….then I saw something that amazed me….”. Randall stopped, a few feet from Waternoose. Randall looking straight past Waternoose at the Scare Floor entrance. They were certainly alone. Randall barred his fists, letting lose his hands. “You set me up….you set us all up didn’t you….first it was me….you wanted the machine from me….then you wanted to cast me out….but then you wanted Sullivan and Wazowski out of the picture….sure…”. Randall tilted his head. “I would have liked that but…..nobody deserves banishment….no…..ever since I was a child it was something stupid to me…I wanted Sullivan and Wazowski to suffer the way I wanted them to! By showing I was better than they are!” he yelled looking back up, his forked tongue whipping out. “You don’t care what happens as long as it benefits you! The same was with your father! Taking the credit for what I did for him! I should have known! I wasn’t thinking straight through all of this….but here and now I AM!”. *

Waternoose starred at the fallen Top Scarer in front of him. He hated Randall for betraying him, as he so delicately put it, but he also knew that Randall was able to put fear in children. But with that, put the fear of death into monsters. Waternoose knew Randall wasn’t a killer. But his guess led that, since he disposed of the three, he wanted to do it again. And his target this time was Waternoose himself. * Randall took a step forward, Waternoose taking a few back. “Now boy….don’t do anything you’ll regret!” Waternoose warned. Randall shook his head with a grin. “Oh I won’t regret this….listen….when you scream for help….you’ll be down before they even get here….” Randall returned. Waternoose’s eyes went wide. Randall was serious. Indeed, Randall was. Waternoose had broken everything. He betrays his friends. He steps on those lower than him. He wants those that defy him killed. He wants people like Randall as slaves and dogs. Waternoose was a tyrant. He was an evil incarnation hiding behind lies and deception…. Randall lifted his fists to see them. “This is it for you….this building was where I wanted to be in…..a scarer is what I dreamed to be…..but when I found out the true person behind it all…..no….you…..you go against it….I should have never taken the job….not if I was under someone like you!” Randall yelled, his fury exceeding holding level. * Waternoose realized that Randall had meant to kill him. The taste of it he had gotten by disposing of the three earlier was too sweet for him. Waternoose knew it was the first time Randall had killed, but he never expected this as a reaction. He knew that Randall could succeed. All Waternoose had was himself. If he had asked a few agents to stay he might have a higher chance. But no. He was alone…
He backed up to the left, his back hitting the table of the station. His hands moved back onto the table, his eyes still wide as Randall turned to face him. Waternoose wished Randall didn’t recover from the hit back in the lab. Waternoose would have killed him then. He wished he knew then what he knew now. Waternoose felt his left hand brush against the handle of a hot coffee mug. It was still warm. A Scarer had left it when they evacuated the Floor. Waternoose realized that he might have an advantage. He knew Randall’s eyes were not the best. He could see in the dark very well, a quality Scarers should have. But they were sensitive…. Randall moved closer, enjoying Waternoose’s fear. “It’s not so much fun when the dog has the gun is it Waternoose!” Randall yelled. This was the cue and the start of it, Waternoose grinned. “Dear boy….you should know your place!”. In a flash, Waternoose threw the cup at Randall’s eyes. Randall didn’t expect this. His eyes were found covered in hot liquid and felt like burning. Not only that, but the cut had also hit his left eye, making him tilt his head slightly and loosen his hands. In the time he tilted, Waternoose grabbed Randall’s right cheek scales with his right hand, lifting Randall’s hand. Before Randall could remove the muddy color from his eyes, Waternoose slammed his right fist into them. Randall didn’t fall, but backed up as he still had his head tilted, trying to get the vision in his eyes back. Waternoose quickly rushed over, twisting back his front left leg back and thrusting it upward into Randall’s scaly chest. His upper fell backward, giving Waternoose a clean shot.

* Randall felt his eyes were burning. He knew they were sensitive. Ever since he was a kid the light hurt his eyes. He had always gotten so use to the darkness. He stayed in it when he could. A Scarer’s job was in the dark, which made Randall’s job more easier. He didn’t have to see the light even on the Floor. He felt the thrust into his chest. He couldn’t tell what it was, but he knew Waternoose had done it. Randall began feeling anger towards himself. His hands had done their job a second later. His eyes would red but he could see. Randall moved his right arms and pulled back. Before Waternoose took an clawed foot to Randall’s stomach, Randall slammed his right fists into the spider’s head. Waternoose was caught off guard now and Randall had gotten back the upper hand. With fury, Randall hit with his left set to Waternoose’s face. Then he raised both top hands into a ball and slammed downward onto Waternoose’s eyes. Then he finished with a spiral flip, smacking his back right foot into Waternoose’s body. Randall’s fury strength forced Waternoose’s back into the station’s table, flipping the crab over and falling behind it. Randall rubbed his eyes, heading past the table. As soon as he could fully see in the current distorted color, he saw Waternoose on the floor, dazed. Randall heaved heightened breaths by now. “Get up….” he ordered. Waternoose didn’t reply with words, but a moan. Randall’s sharp teeth showed. “I said…GET UP!”. He leaned in, grabbing the monster by his custom designed suit and pulling him onto his feet. He dragged him back to the center of the Scare Floor. Randall backed Waternoose against one of the clippers of the door grabber fixed into the station, shaking Waternoose violently with all hands. “Now your gonna pay! Oh yes! Your gonna pay!” Randall yelled, not caring if the dazed member of the clan of Waternoose could hear him or not. “I’m sure I’m not the only one you stepped on! I’m sure I’m not the only monster who had been betrayed by your lies and empty promises!!!”. Randall could tell Waternoose looked on the verge of collapsing, but he still wanted to rant more. But then. Randall stopped what shaking his former boss, stopping to listen to a sound. It was a whimper. Randall looked to his left, under the table next to the one he had been to. Covering under the table was the kid. He eyes were wide and her lower lip and body were shaking. She was afraid. At first Randall gave a questionable look, but then understood. She didn’t like seeing someone get hurt. She didn’t like seeing someone getting hurt. Any kid who would experience a fight in front of their eyes would be scared. Randall would know. He had seen such a thing. Looking down at first, he shot a look to Waternoose. The monster’s eyes were waving open and closed. Randall had done enough for now. He could sense Waternoose would fall any moment and collapse into a unconsciousness. He looked back at the kid, the grip around Waternoose’s clothes loosening and falling to his sides. He gave Waternoose one last look before heading over to her. The kid scurried more backward, her costume hitting the cylinder base the table had which attached to the floor. She whimpered even more as she saw Randall heading to her. He got onto all eight, his face nearly right in front of her. Randall knew he wasn’t show as an emotional person. He hid it. But he knew he shouldn’t let the kid see what he was doing to Waternoose. Sure. He hated Waternoose, but he didn’t want the kid having this moment affect her life. A similar event had hurt him, he didn’t want the same happening to her. Randall looked at her calmly, his eyes slowly turning from dark green to their normal emerald. “Hey hey….it’s ok….he’s a jerk anyhow…he deserves it….he tried to hurt you remember?” Randall said softly. The kid was still scared, looking down to her left side and closing her eyes, as if wishing for Randall to leave. Randall knew he wasn’t making any progress. Her door was right there. He just had to calm her down, take her, and put her back. “Come on….you wanna go home right? Your going to have to trust me…” Randall said, hoping she would understand. “I know you miss your….”. Randall stopped, looking to his side for a second, not noticing the kid looking at him, seeming to listen. “I….know you miss….your parents…..your….your mom….and….dad….heh…maybe either a brother or sister….maybe two….” Randall said, a smile on his face, only the tip top of his mouth so the kid couldn’t see his teeth. “Heh…I’m sure…they miss you as much as…..as you miss them…” he said, looking to her. For that time, Randall was surprised. She still had tears in her eyes and that scared look but….she nodded to him. Did she really understand that? Randall started to feel like what he had been told about humans really were lies. They were just like monsters. And here right now. A kid he only knew for two days…..started to understand him. Randall smiled, but didn’t open to show his teeth. “Come on….now lets get you home ok? Back to where you belo…AAARRRRGGGGHHH!!!!!”. The kid’s eyes went wide and her mouth shook open as Randall yelled. His yell felt like a roar of a creature of the night. She could see those sharp teeth that looked like they wanted to bite her. She could see his forked tongue, feeling like it would wrap around and suck the life out of her. She ran back from where he previous hiding spot was, screaming as Randall stopped his. “Ah…Ah…ah…” he heaved in high pained breaths, whipping his head back to look at what had happened. Waternoose had moved from the door clipper and was now right behind him. Randall looked to see what had caused the devastating pain that went up his spin to tell his brain to scream. Waternoose had his front right claw dug into Randall’s tail tip. Randall could feel whatever small bone that was inside crack as Waternoose twisted his foot slightly from left to right to dig it in deeper. Randall hung back his yells as he saw the vital fluid that was buried deep inside him leak out of the hole from his tail. The one limp that was his most vital and exposed one. Waternoose had a wide grin on his face. Randall had been caught. He felt a rush of stupidity for comforting the kid. Now his tail had been cut. If he tried to move right now, his tail would split apart by being held down by the sharp claw. If he didn’t, Waternoose could call for anyone or finish Randall off right now. Either way, Randall knew there was a high chance he would bleed to death. “You may be a talented fighter and Scarer my boy….but your always too over confident of yourself!” Waternoose laughed, enjoying Randall’s simple yet effective pain. Randall rushed through any back up options he had. He was a quick thinking, but the situation proved to be to Waternoose’s advantage. “Consider your promotion Mr. Boggs…..to be your death….” he chuckled, leaving Randall with wide eyes and opened jaw. What was he going to do now!?
That scene when Randall comforts Boo is probably the one I love. He tries to show his compassion side. But when Waternoose stabs his tail, he shows scarer-like features, reminding Boo of why she feared him. Waternoose had broken the first time Randall had comforted her. Comment on that please ^_^

Yea. But I really like this story...it's written with a lot of skill. ^^ Wish I had the time to write these kinds of things....curse the ten-page papers I got assigned that I /still/ have yet to begin...

This is OT, but I found this i-kronos.com site for the Incredibles movie, & Pitbullady had one of her best pics I've ever seen submitted there!! It's Mirage & Buddy...omg...I love it! *dies*
