Although I'm still giving later chapters to LR for review, I'm not gonna leave you other Harry Potter fans out of this ^_^. This is yet another part of my Kingdom Hearts fic. Right after Treasure Planet actually. So anyway. Harry Potter came up on the board so...might as well. Enjoy ^_^ (First few chapters will be onboard Hogwarts Express)
Chapter 1 Platform Nine and Three Quarters A breeze. Cool air. There was something different about the atmosphere. It felt like the sky was there. There was....grass he was laying on. Had they made it through? Sean opened his eyes, feeling slightly blinded by the sun overhead. The sky was blue. It wasn’t dark. There was clouds too. In the distance, a bird sounded through the air. It was normal, just normal. Sean had hoped that this would be what the world would be like if the Heartless weren’t here that the world would be free from Darkness. He was suddenly reminded of home. Of things calm and near-silent. Then again.....heh....it was an adventure. A shadow casted over him, blocking the sun. “You awake prince charming?” he said sarcastically. Sean rolled his eyes, grabbing the bottom and top set of the monsters arms to pull him up onto his feet. “We made it through.....right Randall?” Sean asked, looking around at the scenery before looking over at his companion. Randall crossed both sets of arms, looking up. “We took a tumble....believe me...if we didn’t get through the portal....well....lets just say the tab for all of this is rising...” he said, seeming annoyed at his own fall. Sean smiled, but looked over the scenery once more, Randall doing the same as he was. The place was one of light. One untouched by the Heartless, at least for now. There were several tress, some grouped together and others were alone. Each seeming of middle age, harboring what seemed to be in the hundreds of leaves. The place was probably nearing the end of summer, as the leaves were green instead of their changed color. Most of the field was covered by grass, accompanied by several hills heading from close, mid, and long views. It was a plentiful plain. Sean stopped looking, as he turned around once, not noticing his other companion. “Randall.....Where’s Vee?” he asked, looking at Randall, who kept his bottom set crossed, his top right soothing back his head fronds. “We saw a building a little off...went to check it out while I sated with you....heh...good choice on my part” Randall snickered. Sean nodded. He knew Vee was more than able to handle himself, so he didn’t worry as much. He felt slightly off, the plain was just too....too normal. It wasn’t like most of the places they had been. Untouched by the Heartless? Is there really a place? “Guys!!!”. The two tuned to a yell on the south-west, if one were to take the sun into account. The digital dragon member, Vee, ran over to them, jumping over a hill top and falling down in a slip, ending at their feet in the process. Randall snickered loudly as Sean helped him up. “You ok?”. “Yeah yeah...fine...”. Randall kept his laughing grin, Vee crossing his arms at the thought. “So what did you find?” Sean asked, Vee instantly turning attention. “I don’t know what it’s doing in the middle of no-where but...there’s a train station over a few hills....the train’s still there but I think their going to leave soon....”. Sean crossed and arm, his right on his chin. “Hmm....well it’s no use walking our way to something we can’t see....guess the train’s our best way to get to a city....”. “And the Keyhole....” Randall added, getting Sean’s welcoming nod. “Alright...lets go....”. * “Ok.....this is going to be harder than I thought....”. Sean, Randall, and Vee, were tucking behind the closest hill near the train station. One of the facts Vee had forgotten to mention was that there were people, humans like Sean, occupying the station. Randall mumbled under his breath, Sean looking them over, as well as the station itself. The place was rather small for it’s size. The conductor car and the caboose were sticking out of the station’s dock end. The left side of the building, which was more of the building itself, as the train’s dock was merely and overhanging arc, probably would protect the train from rain so rust wouldn’t be a problem. Getting back to the station itself, it looked like a half gallery. The arc above the train was glass with what looked like golden, or golden painted, scaffolding. The building was made of brick, like the kind you find in London, or generally England. The different was that there seemed to be no large offices at all, judging from the size of the place itself. Randall was starting to feel really uncomfortable at this, which Sean didn’t even seem to notice. “Ok...there doesn’t seem to be any Heartless around...if there were....we wouldn’t be seeing much of anybody....”. Vee agreed. “Yeah...this place doesn’t look like Heartless central if you ask me....”. “Alright...” Sean commented, getting to his feet. “Lets go!”. He was at a starting jog before he noticed Vee and Randall not following him. He stopped, turned around to see them just standing there, a thinking look on Randall’s face, a slight guilty one on Vee’s for some reason. “Guys?”. Randall sighed, crossing his arms, looking at him. “Sean....with everything that’s happened...I guess I couldn’t blame you forgetting the fact that I....me and Vee are monsters....”. “I’m digital...” Vee commented. “So what?”. Sean got his point. Other than him and a few humans, Randall had experienced much hardships. Humans weren’t ready to accept him. In it’s simplicity, if they saw Randall and Vee, they would have whatever authority is in that station or this place after them. “And you know very well that....that I can’t do my.....skill....as well as I use to......and there’s NO WAY I’m staying behind....” Randall commented. Vee nodded. Sean thought on it. “.....Ok fine...we’ll...we’ll sneak on the train...”. “Uh....what?” Randall said. Sean nodded at his own idea.” Yeah we can do it....besides, it’s bound to get us somewhere....I can bet that the Keyhole isn’t in this train station in the middle of nowhere...”. Vee nodded. “Boy....wish it were that easy huh?”. “Randall?” Sean asked. Randall was looking disturbed now, he really didn’t like the idea of getting caught by humans, no offense to Sean of course. Still, they had a task to do, and Randall was more than willing to finish it. After all, he had a reputation to re-birth. “....Ok....fine....but if we get caught....”. Sean nodded “Then....we’ll fight”.

* Sean stood at the end of the back of the station’s building, Vee beside him, Randall on the wall, over his head. For some reason, it was easy, they simply started from the side of the building’s blank wall and began from there. Vee was short enough, as Randall commented, which Vee quickly kicked him for, that he wouldn’t be see. Randall was thin enough that getting on all eight was making him nearly invisible, which is something he tried to do. Sean was simply being casual about the manner. But now was the moment of truth. The station’s dock was around the corner, and the train was ahead. From what Vee said and the fact that the numbers of the station’s occupants were dwindling, they didn’t have long before the train would leave. So....we really doing this?” Vee asked, looking up at Sean. He nodded back. “Yeah......”. Randall shifted his eye s to him, then back at the awaiting train. “You sure this is a good idea....” he asked. “Well you said the baggage car Randall....pretty good...” Sean said. Randall gulped. Yeah sure, it was his idea to pick the car, but he didn’t want to actually go through with it. “Yeah well....I rode on a train twice in my life time so....” he commented. “we didn’t want a flashback...” Vee commented. “Hey!”. “Sssssh!”. The horn for the train blew, the steam shooting far up, the three seeing it rising from behind the building. “They’re leaving!” Vee yelled, instantly getting looks from Randall and Sean. “VEE!!!”. Sean turned back. He saw the wheel gears of the train start to move. “Hurry!!!”. Randall dropped onto the ground and the three ran. The train started pulling forward, away from the station as they tried to get on it without being seen. They switched from running straight to it, to running beside it. Sean was first, Randall behind him, Vee catching up. Sean jumped for the guard pole of the baggage car. Gripping it firmly, he pulled himself up. Randall had been staying close to the end boards of the station’s waiting area, not to be seen, slowing him down. Vee was up next. Sean wrapped his left arm around the bar, reaching out his left. Vee grabbed for it with both hands, Sean quickly pulling him on board right beside him. Sean and Vee looked over to see Randall still struggling with the fact that they would be seen. “Randall come on!” Vee yelled over, getting his attention. It didn’t matter anymore. The train was moving at this point, if anybody screamed from seeing him, nobody would know. In a bit of a struggling effort, Randall went for it. He ran forward with all eight on the ground. Faster he went, almost matching the train’s current speed. He switched to his four feet while he ran, holding out arms to grab Sean’s. Vee looked over the side of the train to see the edge coming up close. If Randall couldn’t get on, he would have to slow down and follow when the train went out, by then it would be too fast. “Come on!”. “Vee help me out!”. Vee took a hand on Sean’s leg, another wrapped around a pole as Sean leaned in deeper to catch Randall’s hand. He almost did it, but his hand slipped out of Randall’s grasp, another chance was giving and this time, Sean caught his hand. The right closing came up. The three felt it’s slit second shadow come over them, but they were pushed back by Sean’s pull. Randall felt the tip of his tail brush against the corridor, but in the end found himself right on top of Sean. The sun was back. The train had left the station and was now trailing along the track to whatever destination it had in mind for it’s passengers. These three, in particular, were out of breath. Randall found himself on top of Sean, Vee sitting against the entrance door to the car, heaving. Randall rolled off of his friend, laying his back against the cold, slowly turning warm bumped bronze, heaving as much as Sean was. The train was leaving now, and they had caught it. The event could have cost them to split up. But after the event that they had had before, they were never willing to let such a thing or even thought like that would be done.
Enjoyed? ^_^

This next part is small, but I figured what the hey. The title is self explainatory so....
Anyway. This chapter mainly focuses on something Randall truely has a...."problem" with....it'll be emphasised throughout this so you know and all...
Chapter 2 Randall’s Childhood Fear The baggage car. Randall had been right. The passenger luggage that were not worried about were stored at the back of the train. There were several briefcases, bags, duffles, and other forms of carrying one’s possessions. There were also a few animals in forms of cages as well. Owls, rats, toads, creatures that seemed uncommon to be together, but destined nonetheless. There was a walk-able path between the piles of luggage that would lead to the rest of the cars, but the three took note not to venture out. There were dim, yet finely lit lights overhead, boardering the beginning of the arc that was the ceiling. Vee was laying on a stable pile of luggage near the middle of the car, his hands behind his head, legs crossed. Randall was near the back, leaning against the wall beside the door they had come in from, his arms crossed, looking down to the floor. Sean had been looking over the luggage for anything that would help them. When they first came in, Randall found a few potions in a bag. Sean and Vee didn’t like the idea of stealing, through Randall said that they were doing everyone in the world a favor, might as well get paid for it. More or less, the two agreed by then. * The train gently rocked as Sean starred out the window at the top right corner of the room, sitting on a briefcase stack. He wasn’t really in a thoughtful mood, just waiting for the next event to happen. He saw his own reflection on the mirror, something he didn’t really like seeing, at least not now after what has happened. Figuring that looking at himself at the end of their journey would better fit such things. It was night outside, raining heavily now. The rocking of the train was accompanied by the water drops pounding on the windows and the heavy hull of the train’s body. A single thunderbolt shot out in the distance, lighting a group of heavy clouds starting to hid behind a mountain. The darkness of the sky made it feel like an omen to the three. Faintly, Sean didn’t want to look at it anymore. He rose up, patting off his pants, heaving over to Vee, whispering a “you ok?” in a wondering tone, getting thumbs up from the digital dragon. He headed over to the back, seeing Randall. Knowing the monster more than anyone, Sean knew something was wrong with him. Either physically or emotionally he couldn’t say. He walked over, placing his back against the door, giving a similar stance to Randall’s. “Hey....”. Randall only repeated the word, still keeping his expression. “....You....alright Randall?” Sean asked, seeing that his friend wasn’t so good at hiding his emotions around friends. Randall shrugged, shaking his head slightly. “I...don’t know...” he replied. Sean looked back down at the floor, thinking, then back up through the window. “.....Funny.....first it was sunny....then this big storm just blows in...” he commented. Randall shifted his eyes to the window, then back down. “Yeah strange....isn’t it?” he replied. Sean knew he was hiding something now. “.....Randall.....I know there’s something wrong....you can tell me....me and Vee....I thought you knew that....”. Randall sighed, twisting his head to the left, looking out the blurry window being bombarded by the rain. “.......I....was just thinking.....”. Sean gave a slight “ah” reply, getting the monster to turned back. “....I’m just......”. Sean just recalled. “....Oh....it’s......it’s about your family isn’t it Randall?” he asked. Randall refolded his arms, having laid them at his sides when he turned to the window. He nodded, a slight tear at the corner of his eye. “...Yeah it...it is” he replied. Sean kicked the door behind him, giving a slight “THUMP” as he did. Sean remembered that Randall had told them. He had ridden on a train once before. Randall had told him it was with his older sibling. The only one of his family that he had met in his life. Randall was an orphan who didn’t even know who his parents were, what they even looked like. His brother was the only family member alive that he had seen. They went to an Academy, together, on....on a train. Years later, before Randall’s life changing event, his brother disappeared, never to be heard from again. Coming on the train, remembering his brother, remembering his parents, remembering.....his family......was probably the hardest moment for him emotionally in this entire adventure.... “Oh jeez.....Randall....I’m....I’m sorry....I should have just called Blue and we....we could have followed the tracks but....”. Randall held up a hand to stop him, getting a slightly confused reaction from Sean. Randall lowered his hand, looking back out the window. “.....It’s....it’s ok......” he said. Sean shook his head. “No....it isn’t...”. “Yes....it is....”. Randall looked back at his friend. “Sean I.......I do feel hurt and.....you know that....but....”. He turned to look outside again. “.....I guess that.....though my parents....make me feel hurt inside......they also....they also....”. Before Randall could finish, another, THUMP, was heard. Randall looked at Sean, who shook his head. “Wasn’t me....”. The two looked over at Vee, who rose up slightly with his hands. “What?”. THUMP. There it was again. This time, the three looked up. It was coming from outside. Sean looked for any dents in the ceiling, but there was nothing. He got of the wall quickly, waving Vee over, who jumped down from the stack, heading over to him. The three huddled around the door, listening. Sean held out his hands to emphasize his tactic. “Alright....I’ll head up first and check it out....if there’s anything wrong....I’ll call you guys up....”. Vee nodded, but Randall didn’t. Sean didn’t seem to notice as he opened the door, his shirt instantly waving as the cold atmosphere hit him. He shoved the door open with force, as the wind was violent enough to knock him back into the car. Vee followed close behind as Randall stayed inside, watching, waiting. * The world was dark now. The sky was a deep blue, the clouds a tan-less gray, the foliage a shadowed green. The atmosphere itself was too unwelcoming, like this world’s mother nature did not want to assist them in their task. Sean grabbed hold of the wet pole that bordered the ladder leading to the top of the baggage car. He halted half-way up, looking to see Vee between the door, half in half out. He nodded to confirm again, Heading up Sean reached the top, looking first of all. The top was nearly the same as the rest of the train, in the color and material way. The rain splattered on forming puddles lucky enough to stay on the top of the car, while others dropped on the rounded corners, sliding down and falling to the ground. Sea knew he had to be careful, one drop would probably not cost him his life, but would probably endanger his friends. He carefully started to get onto the top, making sure not to slip. * Randall still leaned against the wall as Vee was watching Sean get up over head of them, where they could see. “I’m worried...” Vee said, slowly turning his head to Randall, water running down his blue skin. Randall had a shaky reply. “Why? Sean’s able to take care of himself.....he’s got the Keyblade....” he said. Although he wasn’t willing to admit it, Vee knew that Randall was worried too. And if Vee wasn’t as good at catching emotions, he could have sworn there was a bit of fear in Randall too. It was assured when a thunderbolt shot off in the distance. Now with the door open, it was louder. Vee looked over to see it, but stopped when he noticed Randall’s fronds stood straight up as well as his tail. “.......Randall?”. Vee took one last look then went over to the monster. Randall saw that Vee had caught him. “Wha....what?”. “Why....did you jump at that?” Vee asked, eyeing him. “Wh...what? I didn’t....” Randall replied. “Uh huh....sure.....your fronds and your tail have a mind of there own huh?” Vee said. Randall gave a slight growl, not wanting to discuss the matter, turning with a now angered look.

Well...Veg seems interested....so what the hey? ^_^
Chapter 3 The Drums of War Begin Sean had gotten use to the slippery metal under his feet, now looking around. It was dark all around, but he could see just fine. The fare ahead cars were gone, they couldn’t be seen that is. They were there, he just couldn’t see them. “(Nothing.....that’s strange....)” he thought. There was nothing around that could have caused that sound from outside, no sign. He turned around, taking a few steps back. But then he stopped. Something tinged his ears. Something behind him. Sean turned around. “What the!”. Ahead, something was forming. A black orb was ahead, near the end of the car. It was slowly swirling dark purple and blue colors within it. It seemed like a portal for something. Whatever it was, something was using it. A creature slowly started out of the portal. As it began to recollect it’s figure, the portal diminished. When the portal was finally gone, the creatures full form was there, floating in front of his eyes. It was....it was a dark ball of some kind. It’s eyes were yellow, it’s slits and elevated figure were slightly hinted with blue. It had two arms at it’s sides. They were like tentacles. Long, thing tentacles. It also had a tail of some kind, made in the same fashion as it’s arms. Sean knew what it was. In an instant, he threw his arms outward at their respective sides. In a flash of particles, his dual Keyblades appeared. * “HEARTLESS!!!!!”. Vee and Randall quickly looked up at Sean’s yell. Instantly, they knew what they needed to do. Vee ran out, catching the ladder as he did, Randall followed, but stopped at the door. Vee was half way up when he noticed Randall hadn’t come out. “Randall! Come on!”. Randall was holding his arms, looking at Vee like a scared child. “(What the heck is wrong with him?)” Vee thought to himself. As soon as he thought this, a dark mass passed by overhead, coming from the direction of the car’s ceiling. Vee watched as it went far off into the sky, then turn around. * Sean held his Keyblades tight together, waiting as the Darkball flew back towards him. It had charged for him at first, leaving him to dodge roll forward, under it, since it hovered. It flew downward toward him like a plane touching down on an airstrip. Sean was waiting for this. He dodge rolled again, forward, then he threw his left Keyblade backward. The Darkball was caught off balance, slightly stunned by the blow. Sean quickly touched down to the wet metal beneath his feet. He almost tripped but kept his balance with his two Keyblades. He ran straight for the Heartless to get a clear shot. With an inward stab, Sean’s Keyblade broke through the Heartless body. It oozed it’s dark fluid and just as suddenly evaporated. Sean smirked, raising his hands to his sides, Keyblades out. * Vee smiled at the win, seeing Sean had won against what ever it was. But his attention quickly turned to Randall. The monster still hadn’t left the car after all that was going on…. Randall noticed this and only gave a grin, overhearing. * Sean lowered his hands and Keyblades to his sides, starting to turn back and head for the ladder. (ERRRKKKHHH) He stopped. Something else was there. He turned around, his hair whipping through the air. Far ahead in the conductor car, the once clear white smoke of the exhaust pipe on it’s top was now spouting dark blue and black smoke. Black and hollow, like the Heartless. Now he knew why the Heartless were here. They wanted to stop the train, or at the most, destroy it. Instantly, Sean ran for Vee. “We got to get to the controls!” he yelled, letting his Keyblades disperse. He slid the final way, grabbing Vee’s five fingered hands and pulling him up beside him. “You ok Vee?” he asked, making sure the Heartless had not attacked him. Vee quickly nodded, rubbing his arms as he became aware of the cold wind and the blasting rain. Sean looked over the baggage car end to the platform just out of it’s exit. Randall wasn’t there. “Where’s Randall!?” Sean asked, looking to Vee, worried. Vee shook his head. “He won’t come out! I don’t know what’s with him!” Vee yelled, trying to get over the storm. Sean looked back down. Randall was always a tough guy, sure, and he could prove it. But the fact of the matter is, Randall did have a few fears as does everybody. One of them had to have been lightning. The rain doesn’t hurt him at all. But the bellowing sound of thunder and the distant sound of it from far off is what frightened him. Of course, he never told anybody. Right now he probably felt like a child again. Of course, Sean wouldn’t blame him with all the thoughts of the Heartless...and what they had been through. “I’ll get him...”. * Randall had his back against the wall of the baggage car, holding his hands with their respective brothers. He was afraid. He never liked being afraid of something. Fear is for the weak someone once said, but Randall didn’t care. He wasn’t perfect. Lightning, thunder. They both made him afraid. It’s just that sound that scared him as a child and stayed with him when he grew up. It was probably one of those things he would never forget. Paired with the fact of the Heartless. Maybe that’s what lightning was for him. That thundering noise was like the beat of drums. The drums led to the drums of war. War led to fighting, pain, and death. Death made him remember nearly everything. His adopter’s death, his brother’s disappearance, his emotional death in exile...and the feeling of when he was a Heartless... He shuddered, rubbing his arms and letting his tail shiver like a rattlesnake’s. He had been a Heartless twice. When he had been dormant in his own summon, Stealth Sneak. And that one... That one when Axel had taken control of Sean. When he was stabbed with the Keyblade. He remembered hearing Sean screaming for them to be ok, him and Vee. He and Vee had fallen into darkness. But this time, Randall felt the feeling of the Heartless a second time. Having experienced something once is a historical event. But having to feel it twice... He remembered falling...falling into a pit of darkness. Vee or Sean wasn’t with him. It was just his seemingly lifeless body falling into a bottomless abyss of darkness. There was nothing to be happy about. Randall felt the little good feels he had experienced dwindle away like they were in an hour glass. Every happy thought, every cheerful memory. They were slowly leaving him. The darkness would had taken him. If Sean had not saved him, what would have happened? He would still be falling. Seeing the natural Heartless watch him, waiting for him to finally break and give up his head. He could smell the Heartless, smell the darkness. He felt light, falling slowly. And he could hear that thundering sound far off in the distance...

Nice work, Sean--I can tell you put a LOT of time into this. (The sheer amount of type says that!) I'd appreciate a bit less of the ellipses, as it makes the characters sound as if they're all severely dehydrated, but hey, it's an ill I have as well, albeit mine is the 'dash disease'--like I just showed. 9_9
Good description makes for good connection. Bravo!

Veg...ohh... THAT is going to be something important...^_^ Yes....the two do have a connection....and there will be an emotional scene between the two on just that... Not to mention they both have "life-changing" scars...
Well yeah....I had allot of spare time and figured...what the hey.....besides....I watch the movies carefully and try my best to put pieces together.... Just wait till Kurt Ziza shows up ^_^
Yeah I know....ellipses (that's these . right?) and me...well...they mean mostly pauses....like when you think you said something wrong or were about to say something but changed it....
Thank you ^_^ I'll get the next part as soon as I can...it's all set up...
