Good one, Sean!
The newest episode is on again tonight at 7:30 Eastern time for anyone who'd like to watch it, and it's preceded by my favorite all-time episode, "Eddie Monster", which is a great spoof of Anime monster-fighting shows(like "Dragonball Z"), and features Wilt getting a Randall Boggs attitude with that Mike Wazowski wannabe, Bloo(SMAACKKK!).

There is going to be another new episode tomorrow night at 7 pm, "Camp Keep a Good Mac Down", about what happens when the crew go camping and Bloo(who else?)eats all their food, and they have to keep from starving out in the wilderness.
Somebody oughta lock Bloo and Wazowski up in a room together, or in one of those "cage matches", like they have on Professional Wrasslin.

I dunno...it's almost too close to call, especially when it comes to sarcasm, self-centeredness and lack of concern for others or their feelings. Bloo's one saving grace is that he IS cute, but I swear I couldn't stand to be around him for more than say, ten minutes. It's a true testimony to how aggravating he can be when his behavior pushes Wilt to the point of physical violence, not once, but twice now!
Speaking of which, given that two of Wilt's worst "hot buttons" are 1)someone making fun of his height(or ANY tall person's height), and 2)being abandoned/"ditched"/thrown out/banished, and anyone who has abandoned/"ditched"/thrown out/banished anyone else, and 3)selfish individuals who seem to care very little about others' feelings, I wonder how things would go if HE and Mike Wazowski ever met up? Given that Mike thinks nothing of making fun of Sulley's height, and is very, very likely to eventually start running his mouth and bragging about how he had a hand in abandoning/"ditching"/throwing out/banishing ANOTHER monster, I'd say things might get a bit...shall we say, INTERESTING? Randall might not seem so bad, after all, LOL!

I'm seriously considering a cross-over, but first I have to finish my current fic, and right now I'm sorta evacuated from MY house, due to my air conditioner breaking down...again. It was 110 in here when I got home this afternoon from an already-rough day at work; the fan motor had apparently burned up or something, and the repair guy won't make it until tomorrow, so it's too hot to spend more than a few minutes up here. Me, the two adult dogs and four newborn puppies, and three cats, have set up camp at my grandparents' former house, but there is no computer there.
Anyway, I figured that Wilt would make a good role model of sorts for Randall, since he's older, and he's not human, but lives in the Human World. He's also been through some very, very bad things in the past, and I would not be surprised if he's DONE some less-than-nice things in the past, too, so he'd know exactly where Randall was coming from, emotionally and experience-wise. I get the impression that Wilt probably went through a stage of anger, hurt and bitterness at some point, too, and has probably experienced all sorts of prejudice and injustice, but he's learned to cope and put it behind him...more or less. He still gives indications now and then of a somewhat explosive and unpredictable temper which at times is seemingly just below the surface, waiting for the right trigger to set it off, while at other times he's the epitome of patience, calm, and optimism(like in tonight's new episode, "Camp Keep a Good Mac Down"). That would be a good person for Randall to hang out with, and learn from, since unlike others who try to tell him how to live HIS life, or how he should behave, Wilt has Been There, Done That. Like Randall, Wilt also knows what it's like to be thrown out and abandoned, which is something he still has major issues with. Funny thing is, he'd probably think that Randall was another abandoned Imaginary Friend, while Randall would think that he and the other residents of Foster's were banished(legally and otherwise)monsters!

Well actually....I remember one time that me and Randall came up with an idea for a story. When Randall had given up returning back to Monstropolis, he resorted to creating a sorta "sanctuary" for banished monsters....

The interesting thing about Randall ending up at Foster's, and being mistaken for an Imaginary Friend, though, is that he'd be up for adoption He would have a tough time proving that he WASN'T an Imaginary Friend, since they all DO look like, and probably would be considered, monsters. The overall "look" of this show seriously reminds me of the opening flash-animated credits to "Monsters, Inc." After last night's new episode, though, I would HOPE that Randall and Bloo WOULD meet up, because I totally wanted to feed Bloo to some piranahs or something! Even Mike seemed nice and considerate in comparison! pitbulllady

I would do a crossover...but I'm a bit swamped with other ideas...plus I haven't seen an episode to save my life...
