Concerning that Dreamworks monster film, monsters vs. aliens? That already sounds rubbish. It's rumoured that Wall-E (now spelt with two 'l's) is going to be about robots, but this only a rumour. And as for Crystal or Goodman dying...Well, we couldn't really predict what would happen unless it did actually happen.

Yeah ^_^
^_^
In terms of that.... Well who knows. Disney/Pixar seems to have a good way of finding "voices".
I believe someone said someone OTHER than Robin Williams voiced Genie in Kingdom Hearts. Faintly, I couldn't tell the difference between the two.

Ahem, and according to wikipedia, Wall-E. is no longer a film. As Pitbulllady said, you can't really take that stuff as pure, 100% fact. It's mostly rumor anyway, and I believe it will be impossible to truly confirm anything until the release date draws closer. It's far too soon to tell now.

As stated before, it's not like we don't believe you, we KNOW the movie exists, just next to nothing about it. The net is rife with rumors these days. Terrible shame if this article IS true.

True.
Speaking of rumors. This is just a rumor, but on a board somewhere discussing the M.I. sequel, someone made a rumor about Boo going into a toy making business, making toys of Sullivan and the like, eventually coming back to the Monster World with a "I think I know this place" ring.
Personally the toy making things seems to be interesting, but it just doesn't flow right in terms of time.

I thought I've been on all the Pixar-related and M.I.-related forums on the net, in English, anway, and I have yet to see that rumor. You sure that wasn't just somebody's fanfic? But you're right, it would not fit in terms of time, since Boo would have to be an adult, and besides that, it sounds like something that's been done before, in Short Circuit 2. That movie had a character from the original making toys of the lead character and selling them. It also reminds me a lot of a really great series of "drabbles" on FF.net in the Incredibles fanfic section, in which Buddy Pine turns away from making weapons of mass destruction and starts inventing high-tech toys, REAL toys, for kids. pitbulllady

I haven't heard of that rumour anywhere I've been, either. Maybe it was just someone's idea?

Well someone was being really rumoruss if it had a "Spoilers" on it. Not to mention a different person posted the SAME bit. Meaning they got it from somewhere.
I can't remember where I got this info....let me get back to you on that.

Sean, that same guy posted the EXACT, word-for-word, thing on the IMDb forum about two years or so ago. I checked his profile and lo and behold, he's been on just about every movie forum on IMDb at some point, claiming to have "inside information" about sequels to popular movies, yet I also noticed he'd been on some animation boards. I tracked him to one of the Anime forums, where in a thread about the ages of viewers he revealed that he was FOURTEEN. He's a KID! He probably has no more "inside information" than one of my tarantulas on any sequels to any movies; he's basically a sort of "benign" troll who, instead of trying to cause problems and make people mad, just thinks it's cool to test out his fanfic ideas by claiming that they are ideas for actual movies generated by the writers at the big studios. We had a guy on the Never Forgotten forum(and on several other Foster's-related sites, including Wikipedia), who was obsessed with having his "scripts" accepted by the show's crew and made into episodes. He was so obessed, that he actually claimed this was going to happen for real, and would post "future episodes" on various sites, claiming that he had "inside information" that no one else had, about what was going to happen, or the history of the characters, etc. Thing is, whenever these wannabe script writers post their own ideas as "canon", they always give TOO much information, and tell WAY more than a real studio summary of an upcoming episode would ever reveal! If you've ever paid attention to the synopses of future movies/tv episodes, right up until the time of their release, you'll notice that the studios keep as much "under wraps" as possible to avoid "spoilers". At best, a synopsis is usually just a short paragraph of 2-3 sentences, but the wannabes always go overboard and post a lot more. pitbulllady

Not only that, but studios REFUSE to take "outside" ideas for sequels (when I tried to ask Pixar on the phone how to ask for a sequel, she almost hung up on my with that statement before I convinced her that I just wanted a sequel...ANY sequel).

As thought. But I do say I like the toy inventing bit which is why it caught my interest. But not Boo persay, maybe her parents make toys and she starts talking to them about her adventures in Monstropolis, so they start making toys of Sullivan and such.
Well most studios go for that. Did something somewhere talk about Nemo from Finding Nemo was actually made by a little girl or something?

Did something somewhere talk about Nemo from Finding Nemo was actually made by a little girl or something? No, Andrew Stanton wrote and directed Finding Nemo, though some French dude later tried to sue Disney(who still owned the rights to all of Pixar's movies at that time), claiming that they'd stolen the idea from his children's book about a Clown Fish, which was the ONLY thing it had in common with the Pixar movie. Pixar absolutely DOES NOT accept screenplays or even ideas for screenplays from outside sources. You are probably thinking of the stuffed Nemo toy which Boo has in her room in Monsters, Inc., which was used as a "set-up" for Pixar's next movie. pitbulllady
