Well, it seems that the new "Monsters, Inc.: Mike and Sulley To the Rescue" ride has opened at DisneyLand CA. Through a link on Animated-News, I came across over 200 pics on Mouse Info.com of the attraction, and guess WHO is once again shown as the SOLE villain of the whole shebang? Not ONE pic of Waternoose-apparently he isn't even involved at all, just our poor Randall! Most of the pics of him are of Boo beating him with the baseball bat, by the way. www.mouseinfo.com/gallery/browseimages.php?do=browseimages&c=678pitbulllady

Oh, blegh. -_-;
Though if I were creating a ride for children myself, I would include Randall over Waternoose - Randall is at least asthetically pleasing, you know?

You DO have a point THERE, Beboots! I wonder if they're going to be selling any Randall merchandise, or just Mike, Sulley and Boo? Usually, whenever DW or DL opens up a new ride, they open up a souvenire shop right next to it, for awhile anyway, that specializes in merchandise connected to the ride. pitbulllady

Yay, Randall merchandise!!! Either way tho, Ran is NOT evil. I hate how every ignorant idiot out there forgets that Waternoose was behind it all to begin with and that Randall was only doing what he was told so he wouldn't get fired.

Well, at least they managed to get Randall to actually LOOk like Randall, which is pretty surprising in itself. Though the whole storyline of MI doesn't make any sense if you take out all of Waternoose's parts in it, but I guess the people that designed this ride wasn't thinking about that at the time.

Well, the pictures look cool, and it looks like it will be something like those rides like 'Peter Pan' and 'Alice in Wonderland', though of course with the more modern technology with this ride and such.
If I am in the area, I might ride it, to see if I like it. But I won't forget about all the things you taught me.

Yeah, Randall IS shown in a bad light, not surprised, but they did do a good job, which does mean something, on it...
Umm...what exactly are these? Inmoveable props or screens or what?

They are animatronic props in the ride(think "Pirates of the Caribbean"), intermingled with CGI blue screens.

I guess it must be a pretty cool ride, especially for Mike, Boo and Sulley fans. And maybe Randall has his moments, too...

Personally....the ride may be ok...though the bashing is still the same...
Though...I DO have to give them props for the models. They actually DID show Randall's individual scales instead of just normal paint.

Yeah, Randall looks, for once, pretty similar to what he looks like in the film, which is actually quite impressive.

*bangs head on table* Oh why did they had to make Randall the bad guy?! It's just not fair. Anyway, the ride looks like one of those dark rides in the Magic Kingdom. Might be nice for Sulley and Mike fans, whoever they are!

I didn't look through the entire thing yet. Got work I need to do. But I guess this might actually be a good thing. Kids would go on the ride along with adults and be reminded of the story.... In so..... They might want a sequel.... Maybe we're looking at the ride in a wrong way....
