...There's a reference there somewhere, I know it. Psssttt....it's a paraphrase of Pink Floyd's "Time". pitbulllady

...Man do I really feel old in these moments. YOU feel old?! I bought the "Dark Side of the Moon" vinyl album when it was first released back in '73 with my birthday money, from one of those mail-order "Record of the Month" clubs, along with Lynard Skynard's first album and Alice Cooper's "Billion Dollar Babies"(which my parents flipped out about-NOT in a good way, either). I got the three of 'em together for like, five dollars. pitbulllady

I got the three of 'em together for like, five dollars. pitbulllady Perhaps he's older than we think, listens to 78rpm shellac records and has his grandchildren doing all the browsing for him, and doesn't even know Pink Floyd ;D But yes, I paraphrased a part of Pink Floyd's Time. OK is a "loser fraternity". Underachievers, underdogs, dropouts, you name it. Desperation is what keeps them together. Each one of them on their own would never find another frat to join. No wonder a talented and successful person would refuse to join them, even if his decision was breaking his heart... Anyway, I have always loved Pink Floyd (hence my nick), but it MU truly made a "canon" connection between them and Randall. I mean, their three most popular and famous albums, The Dark Side Of The Moon, The Wall and Wish You Were Here, all deal with them losing a friend and fellow band-member to insanity and madness, showing their compassion and feelings of guilt. I picked my username for Randall-centric sites after their opus "Shine On You Crazy Diamond". It's almost impossible to listen to the song and not see the connection with Randall. I'll post the song and lyrics to the Randall music topic. Don't want to hijack this thread.

The "old man" just noticed something 0_- Hm hm.
I was looking on grumblr's latest pic, a good shot of the Scare Games scene and....I noticed that while some of the houses had their members (I assume) near their respective buildings....ROR wasn't. So I looked and quickly found Johnny and his gang. I don't seem to see Randall with him. I MAY be seeing the top of a frond, but from the distance, it would make him taller than Johnny, and he's not. BUT there IS a some empty space next to Johnny...enough for a certain invisible monster perhaps? Anyway, if he's there at this point, he's not easy to see. Guess that's the difficulty when everyone is a head bigger than you.

Liars! Ok, not a trailer, but another TV Spot! Back in a moment with info. www.youtube.com/watch?v=956SRjeDH68Some new scenes with Sullivan and Wazowski...but we get a better shot of that "training in the rain" scene. YEAH...that looks like Johnny and Chet spying on them in the background there. Oh please let Randall be shown in the rain! Speaking of Randy, we see MORE of the little chase for a second or two, like RIGHT after we were shown before. Seems Ran starts his run on all right, works his way down to four, then starts to get low. His eyes are on Sullivan for the first second, then ahead...watching the progress of his opponent, but focusing on the task at hand. We ALSO....see the teams. OK is naturally cheering for Sullivan. Chet, Reggie, and Chip seem to be cheering Randall on, while Javier just seems to yawn. JOHNNY...on the other hand, isn't. His arms are folded and he's watching intently (and I THINK I spy Randall's jacket in his arm...) Phew...

he did a pretty messed up thing but we've all got to admit although hes 'class' smart hes still immature and i personally think given more time to think he probably wouldnt have done what he did in mi especially after someone maybe pointed out that its not a very good idea.
i dont know ive just always liked randall and mike the best since i was a kid so maybe im just hoping that eventually they could make amends considering how thy both wronged each other in one way or another. also i just cant help finding mike funny in an insane sort of way.

I'm not 100% believing in his class smarts....maybe he does have them but it kinda...deteriorated or something and he went to more of the coach style. Actually, what happened to Randall WAS planned out 0_0
As for making up...I dunno, that would be incredibly difficult. But I'll see in the sequel...

WTBLEPP? www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNTp0ktK4EcOk, now this is in the books I have but...where the heck did the scene of Randall quizzing Wazowski come from?! It's not in the trailers to my knowledge...unless there's something new around. Anyway, yeah, Randall quizzes Wazowski to prepare for the final. And we GET OUR FIRST LINE! Randall say's "Fear of spiders"! As in what is fear of spiders called. It's VERY brief, but he says it SO enthusiastically it's adorable ^0^ The scene seems...cut, so there's more to it. And there is Wazowski showing his ID for...something or other (maybe in his introduction to Randall?). But I've been looking and...I can't see this. Were these cut from trailers? It's in English...so...American or European... Wait...knew this was recorded (not an official trailer)...but this is being recorded ON a television set, you can see the boarders. OK...so...this can't be a now-televised trailer is it? Did Disney/Pixar make DIFFERENT trailers that are on the air (as opposed to those on their sites/youtube?) New guess. These are all chopped pieces of Randall, obviously...one of which we have not seen (the quizzing). BUT...Wazowski showing his student ID is new, and continues from the scene of Sullivan knocking off Wazowski's book. So chopped or not, I don't remember seeing Wazowski showing his ID to anyone (looks like he's holding it up to somebody). So...a guess to me is that this is cut from something NEW...

SOMEONE obviously had a cell phone video camera going during one of the advance screenings! You can tell it's poor quality, not what you'd expect from an officially-released trailer, but at least we DO see that Randall DID play a role in Mike's academic success, at least. Mike's good grades on paper probably would not have been so good had he not had that "tutor". Makes what happened between them all the sadder, really.

With or without glasses, that Randy under the tree is the most adorable thing I have seen in a long time.
