As I thought.
But I just figure we would have had SOME kind of impact. I mean. John Lasseter (name?) seems to hold true to Pixar, meaning he might listen to the fans.
Heck. Not like we haven't had someone go in Pixar before...

As I thought. But I just figure we would have had SOME kind of impact. I mean. John Lasseter (name?) seems to hold true to Pixar, meaning he might listen to the fans. Heck. Not like we haven't had someone go in Pixar before... Yes, but Light Rises went as just a member of a tour group. She did NOT get to speak with anyone, did not get to express any concerns or interests in the name of Randall's fans. Not one single person at Pixar would have known who she was, from any other member of that same tour group. I mean, *I* have been within an arm's length of John Lasseter himself, which is much closer than any tour member would have gotten to ANY "higher-up" at Pixar, but that does not mean a hill of red beans. I did not get to speak with him, did not get to tell him of our existance, and my Randall shirt even was covered up with a tarp to keep off the pouring rain and hailstones, so he could not have even seen THAT! I doubt very, very serious that the man noticed me at all, so it would be stupid of me to say, "well, I met John Lasseter, and therefore I know he's listening to me!" The only thing that we can count on is that somebody from Pixar HAS visited this board, or the Monsters, Inc. section on FF.Net, even though they are not supposed to do so, or at least cannot admit it, and seen that Randall does have a devoted following. But, as you can see, membership here has dwindled a great deal. As with any fandom, we have our "fly-by-nighters" who come and go within a few weeks, who discover this character and become briefly obsessed, then just as quickly move on to someone else. I know if I was a studio exec, I would not be interested in those people's opinions, since it is going to change like the weather in spring, anyway. We need solid, rock-steady numbers to make a difference, and as the movie gets older, and more and more people forget who those characters are, we lose those numbers. pitbulllady

Definite by the way they put it. I presume that Ratatouille is being worked on has something to do with this. They already have a trailer done, so maybe they have the entire project nearing completion and putting it in stock.

Well no, Rati is filming so it's nowhere near done yet, that was just a teaser trailer but Patton Oswalt IS now the confirmed voice of Rati ^_^
Hmm, well if it comes up before 2009, EXCELLENT! ^_^
