Well, did you buy it? Even if Randall gets beaten later on, I'd like to at least see the picture you said was cute, because I can never find those things.

... Well....everything is gonna portray Randall in a bad light but some have useful information about all or some character, even himself, that would be useful.

Just what does Randall do in this comic that's supposed to be bad, bad enough to cause him to be beaten by Mike and Sulley? HOW can it be worse than them CHEATING? I mean, what does he try to do-turn them in for cheating, or what?

Nuh-uh. He tries to screw up the robot so it doesn't work. And this is a bad thing HOW? Randall tries to stop Wazowski and Sullivan from CHEATING(and no doubt later blaming it all on HIM)by sabataging a robot, which they built to scare kids, rather than Sullivan doing it himself...again, this is a bad thing IN WHAT WAY? Randall was simply doing what was RIGHT and FAIR! What kind of message does this send to young readers, I wonder? That it is OK to cheat? That it is NOT OK to try to stop someone from cheating? Something is just SOOOoooo wrong with that picture! I'm reminded of an episode of the old Nicktoon, "Ahhhh! Real Monsters!", which I used to watch faithfully. One of the main characters was this little gremlin-like critter named "Ickis", who was really, honestly, way too cute to be a very effective Scarer. With his long, long ears, he often got mistaken for a purple(yes, he was purple)bunny rabbit, LOL, by humans he was supposed to scare. In this 'toon, the young monsters learned to scare humans at a monster academy, headed by this stuffy, very strict, British-accented old veteran monster with a penchant for wearing women's shoes , known as "The Gromble". In one episode, poor unsuccessful Ickis discovers the human phenomenon known as "phobias"-in which humans are terrified of often riduculous things, and decides to up his own scare record by utilizing some of these things to scare humans, things like a spider, a clown, Santa Claus, and a snake, with great results. ONLY trouble is, his teacher does not approve when he finds out, since he emphasizes that it's not ICKIS who is scaring those people; it's the snake, spider, clown, etc. Ickis just sits back and eats chips and drinks cola and gets fat and out of shape, something that later nearly costs him dearly when he encounters a Rottweiler and has to run for his life. My guess is that Wazowski and Sullivan were going for the "sit back and eat chips and drink cola and let the robot do the work" plan, too. Point of this ramble is, it would not be THEM doing the scaring, but the robot! What would be the difference-THEM having a machine to scare kids and collect screams, or Randall having a machine to scare kids and collect screams? I don't see any difference, myself, except that RANDALL'S machine was NOT hooked up to the Scare Board, so any screams IT collected could not have counted towards HIS Scare total! Now, who is the cheater here? pitbulllady

"Pfft...wouldn't put it past the idiots to blow up the gym during a science fair..."
Heck! The thing might blow up since it couldn't gone wrong and hurt someone!

I stopped watching when all of the good stuff was taken off. I haven't seen the latest Adventure yet, but it does sound like they were cheating *gives them the evil death glare*

This comic sounds all wrong.

This comic sounds all wrong. Seriously...Sullivan is technologically-challenged as it is, and Mike lacks the know-how to make anything so complicated, plus he's too much of a procrastinator to spend the TIME needed to make such a thing, so they probably bought it from one of those mail-order catalogs, though I wouldn't put it past Mike to steal it and CLAIM that he made it. I wonder what made them think a human child would be afraid of a robot in the first place, when so many kids have toys which are basically robots, and would love to have something like that come walking out of their closet! pitbulllady
