Lol, yeah, you're right.
Well, Mirage didn't either ... neither did Randall .. well, maybe twisting Mike's arms, but he'll live. =)

We're talking about turning here. Well...Molt didn't have anything to well...repend for.
Mirage....I'm not so sure. Randall had allot. He was an innocent soul in a desperate situation, forced into a plot that he couldn't escape.

And ... I guess that other Buzz in Toy Story 2 switched sides ... well, he was also kinda stupid. But that little 'I am your father' thing between Zurg and Buzz was funny; at the end when they were playing catch ^^ lol Well, technically, the other Buzz in TS2 didn't really switch sides. He was just a little delusional - thought he was "the real Buzz Lightyear" and got confused amongst the mayhem of rescuing Woody about who was and who wasn't on the good side. ^_^

"It's a 486". "You mean it's a...?". "Uh huh....". "And he's a....?". "Yep". "......Your majesty!".
I LOVE THAT! ^_^

Still, Iago has GOT to be one of the most annoying characters in an animated movie, period! I would love to lock him and Wazowski up in a room all by themselves, and just see which one comes out alive! I just want to say that I think Iago rules. ;D

Yeah it's not Iago's fault....
Oh boy....I never should have taught him Fire magic......then again Zazu could chill him off if he gets too heated...
"That's my boy! Go long Buzzy!".
"I'm gonna stay here and play catch with my old man....wow your a great dad!".
Love that.... Say is Zurg....really Buzz's father? I don't know so heh....

Lol. Nobody really knows. But a whole lot of BLofSC fans I know make fan fics stating that Zurg is actually Buzz's father, so it's a popular theory among most BL fans.

Yeah, it's like that episode when Zurg says that he's Buzz's father to distract him, and then says that he was joking. ;D

Right! Now this is just a HALF theory. The other half is Ran basically ages like us. In this theory. As long as at least ONE person truely believes in Randall (in any way) he CAN'T die. If no one believes in a "Character" anymore, they die because no one cares about them. Life of a Character basically tells what WOULD HAPPEN if this theory was true for Randall. I mean....where would he wait IF a sequel would happen? I wouldn't be surprised if you've ever seen the Tiny Toons' episode, "Fields of Honey" or somethin' like dat. The idea in that show is that Toons (I don't know if this applies to Randall or not, I'm not sure if he's considered a Toon) don't age if people pay attention and beleive in them. This also is Tinker Bell's case. (Stupid me, I almost wrote "Tinkle Bell") Either that or he's aging just like us. Or maybe he won't age if there's no sequel. But sometimes sequels start where the prequel or whatever left off. Okay. Thanks alot. I'm so confused now, my brains are leaking out of my head. *SIGH* This'll take forever to clean up.

I don't consider Randall a "Toon". That term is applied to traditionally animated characters in which the viewer is constantly REMINDED are drawn on acetate, and really got started with Who Framed Roger Rabbit. In that movie, we were constantly reminded that there were living, flesh-and-blood people, and then there were Toons, a totally different "lifeform" that were created in a universe of acetate, that were not subject to normal rules of physics and biology, and therefore could not be harmed by the things that would hurt US, like being shot or getting hit in the head with a heavy, blunt object. There is nothing in the movie, Monsters, Inc., would NOT be hurt by most of the same things that could harm us humans. Mike fears being killed by Randall-and I never saw Randall with a barrel of acetone. Even in the "outtakes", we're supposed to believe that these are living, flesh-and-blood actors, just not(except for Boo)HUMAN actors.
I'm still relentlessly holding out for Randall being alive, though, unless I read something official from Pixar to the contrary. Only then will I accept it as "canon" that he did not survive. I watch "CSI", and a LOT of time, MOST of the time, actually, they end a season with a cliff-hanger in which a major character is apparently killed(though they really did kill off a major character at the end of the last season because the actor left the show), but you see how they survive when the new season starts back up. That's why I see M.I. as a cliff-hanger, because we do not know exactly what happened to Randall, only what APPEARS to happen.

Uh, well, I said I'm sure if Randall is considered a Toon because A) He is computer ANIMATED but B) Basically the same thing you pointed out. Sorry. (And I'm not trying to relate everything here to WFRR, thankyou)

So if Ran were like 5 years old he would still be 5 years old? ^0^ ^0^ Jking ^_^
Oh well even if Pixar were to say that, then the canon version WOULD have Sullivan and Wazowski as murderers and doubt people want to think of the "story heroes" as that ^_-
