But then again I guess reputation does go with the other Characters... Oh boy...Ran's....

Hmm. Don't think he'd be too popular...

Well actually no. Even though he's not a villain, he's classified as one.
So you can bet he'll be around Villains, though it's not where he belongs. In Characters, Minnie will eventually see that Randall doesn't belong with Villains. In there lies some of the plot.

It's weird though- I always thought that if Randall met some other Disney villains, with his personality, he could sort of get along with them, but probably find ones like Zurg and Jafar a little...erm...extreme...in the whole villainy thing, in the sense that they know they're evil and that they WANT to be evil, even going along with things like the 'evil handbook' and learning how to cackle. ;D

Well remember. Mickey has been trying to keep the villains and heros in line so they don't start a WAR. Can you imagine the stress Disney's putting on the little guy?
And Randall is a breaker here. He's not a villain, and he hasn't become a hero.....yet.
I guess the story mainly shows that Characters aren't property. That they DO have lives and are real. And that they can't be classified as good and evil JUST because they're labeled that way.
I guess the story is centered around Randall because he breaks the Villain and Hero seperation, since he's in between.

Yeah, like Iago was when he switched sides. ;D

PERFECT example. Actually so far, Iago is the most common Character I know that switched sides. I guess he does have a few, and I do mean FEW, traits Randall does.
And the thing was, he was under Jafar like Randall was under Waternoose. I think Jafar DID have a past with Iago.....probably picked Iago up when he was alone. Actually I think Iago.....was an orphan..... Weird.....

I think it's highly possible that he was an orphan.
I never really considered it til recently, but those two are a pretty interesting analogy.

Yes... If remember right Iago is an orphan. But I think he might have found his parents later on though..... I can't be sure...I think he did...

Well, most pet parrots ARE orphans, since in order to get to the nestlings, the trees they are in are cut down, and the parent birds usually killed.
Still, Iago has GOT to be one of the most annoying characters in an animated movie, period! I would love to lock him and Wazowski up in a room all by themselves, and just see which one comes out alive!
And while we're on the subject of minions switching sides, let's not forget Mirage, who also does just that.

Indeed. I *know* Iago is annoying, yet somehow I can't help liking him...maybe it's the Gilbert Gottfried voice... ;D

Hey don't take it out on Iago. He's been around and evil sorceror for nearly all his life....
Wazowski....he's had his parents and was probably a spoiled brat.
Oh Mirage of course....... Is Mirage...the first Pixar Character to do this switch?

No- Hopper's brother Molt switched sides at the end- he joined the circus And ... I guess that other Buzz in Toy Story 2 switched sides ... well, he was also kinda stupid. But that little 'I am your father' thing between Zurg and Buzz was funny; at the end when they were playing catch ^^ lol

Well, I guess so- but Molt really was involved on the bad side ... more like a sidekick. He wasn't half as evil as Hopper though.
