;D I love the original ... I've actually become an obsessed fan. But Tim Burton's version seems dark but cool. Well .. too much of flashes in the commercials, couldn't see much ... but the chocolate river looked more like chocolate than blood, like it was in the first ^^; I'm a fan of Gene Wilder, but I feel there is hope for this movie, and Burton's films never failed before

They're comming out with a game, so I've seen bits of the movie kinda ^_^
Willi Wonka was a great story. It may not have flashy visuals, but the story and emotion was strong. It was weird at times, then funny, then wonderous...

No, I meant the commercial went too fast - flashed by. ^^;
Yeah, I love the story. Wouldn't wanna be his kid though ... that whole 'nobody ever comes in, nobody ever goes out' would kill me. ^^;
Besides, he's kinda kooky. But cool ;D

Johnny Depp looks like a woman in the ads for Willy Wonka, LOL! But it does look like a very good film.

Beetlejuice is my absolute fave followed closely by Edward Scissorhands xxx

I hope it won't be too dark. I plan to take my sister Hillary(aka Dilly) to it - whom we've aptly named "Dilly Wonka"The commercials really frustrated me - you really didn't get the "feel" of the film from them.
Gene Wilder terrified me as a child! LOL. I'm sure most can agree. Good actor though. Young Frankenstien!
