I have yet to go to work, so I don't want to make judgement about wether this day is unlucky or lucky yet. So far, it's been fine (took a math test that I don't think I failed and got an essay back - 93%). But just my luck I'll do something stupid at work and need worker's compensation. -_-;

I'm not a superstition person, myself, though I might be forced to rethink this position after this evening. My day has gone well, as far as work goes, but there is a line of severe thunderstorms approaching now out of Georgia, with a strong cold front that is banging heads with a very warm air mass we've enjoyed for the past week. There are tornado watches and warnings all over the place, pretty much for the entire state, until early tomorrow morning.

Well, it's lucky for me. I always seem to have a good day whenever it's Friday the 13th.

That day turned out be relatively uneventful for me, as usual, so I will stick my my guns and remain non-superstitious. The severe storms and tornadoes gave us a miss, thankfully, though it's now very cold and very windy. I can deal with that better than my house blowing away!

Surprisingly....I got my story back that day. The one for my graduation project, which is due next week. It had been lost for weeks....

Friday was all right, but Saturday had a little glitch in it. I tried to listen to my favorite CD's I got for Christmas, but then my CD player got stuck and now when I turn it on, it keeps on doing this noise!

What kind of noise? I've experienced past problems with my cd player and I have come to find the things are just a little bit loopy. Once, I left mine running all day while I was at a friends house, and when I tried to play something on it, it wouldn't read the disc. So I turned it off for two days and when I turned it on again and gave it a little jumpstart kick, it was working fine. In my case my hypothesis was that leaving the thing on too long weakens the laser and it needs time to rejuvinate. In your case Veg, I'd need to know what the noise sounds like if you want some advice, otherwise I could totally screw it up. Sorry if I'm sounding rude! I don't mean it! Please don't kill me!! *cowers and hides under cloak*
