We know Randall is not cold blooded and has other mammalian features (such as warm blood). But his skin is scaled. Does it shed as he grows?

Most likely. ALL animals shed their skin as they grow, actually, including us. We just do it continually, shedding up to 4 BILLION skin cells every day! The main component of household dust, and of course, that ring in the bathtub, is dead human skin cells. Some animals shed their skin constantly just like we do, producing dander, a major source of allergies in people, while others shed the whole thing at once, periodically, in more or less one piece. Randall's skin is more like that of a reptile than ours in that he has scales, BUT, as seen in one of the deleted rough-animated scenes, he also sweats through his skin like we do. Most likely, he'd shed his skin periodically, rather than all the time, in pieces, sort of like a person who has had a bad sunburn and is peeling, which is also how lizards tend to shed, rather than in one piece like a snake. As an adult, he would not need to shed or renew skin cells as often as a child of his race/species, although a skin injury would increase the rate of shedding temporarily in order to heal the injury. Prior to shedding, he'd probably be very itchy and miserable.
In the little video game, "Pinball Panic", Randall actually DOES mention skin-shedding, expressing his disbelief when the player actually tops his High Score by saying, "What? YOU beat ME? YOU can't even shed your skin!" Beg to differ with there, Ran. Four billion skin cells per day-I'd say that's some impressive skin shedding!

Did you see a vid of it on Youtube or something, if so, please put up the link, I would actually like to see the ending to this game.

This information was provided by Lizardgirl, who used to post a lot on here. She has the game, and there is an old thread somewhere in this section(not under Games), if you look aways back for it. pitbulllady

Well, I found it but there were no vids at all, just a written review....although personally, I think she needs to try and review games from a gamer's perspective and not a fan's perspective...apparantly she has all three games but due to her not being a Mike or Sulley fan (damn it, I knew it, I'm officially a freak on here now ), she gave an improper and biased review on the Mike and Sulley wreck room games but at least I did notice that she did have one same problem as me on Pinball Panic which is the fact that Randall just won't shut up! I like Randall but when a character talks too much in a game, you seriously lose alot of like as a gamer and honestly want to tear out their voice box sometimes....though I will give her credit on having the patience to finish the game. Because of all of the errors and bad gameplay in it, I could never put myself through that kind of gamer hell, I would lose my mind long before that so I'm giving her kudos on that....but it would have been nice if she would have posted a damn video on the ending!!!

I wish SOMEBODY would post more screen caps or videos from the game, honestly. There's just a handful of low-res caps online, and Dinogirl posted a really nice one that is different from those, but that's it. While it might suck from a gamer's perspective, artistically, it's nice eye candy, and the detail on Randall is especially impressive when you consider how old the game is, what format it was designed for, and what age groups it was designed for. The detail in the screencap that Dinogirl sent to me is comparable to Blu-Ray, if not better. Whoever designed it might not have known much about gaming, but they sure had an extensive knowledge of vertebrate anatomy, right down the fine blood vessels in Randall's eyes(yes, they are red; some fanfic writers have speculated that as a monster he might have some odd-colored blood)and the radial vein in his forearm, the ligaments in his wrists and what appears to be little vestigial skin folds on the tops of his fingers, where nails would have appeared had he been human, and a myraid of rather obvious scars that were NOT seen on the movie version.
On the topic of Randall shedding, though, one of my Randall-related dreams that seemed to be a scene from a movie(premonition, hopefully)had these two women, one 20-something and one 50ish, and a young girl around seven or so(Boo? Don't know, but both she and the younger woman had dark hair)sitting around a table, obviously at breakfast time, with these jaw-dropped "WTF" looks on their faces, and the scene cuts to Randall sitting down at the table opposite them, with his cup of coffee and the morning paper...and he's covered with big sheets of whitish peeling skin, just like what you see on real lizards when they are shedding, even his eyelids! He notices them staring at him after a few seconds, then says, "What? You look like you've never seen a guy shedding his skin before!"

I would post a video and some screencaps of the game, but I unfortunately don't have a computer that will run it anymore as it seems to use some pretty old specs.
Also, I genuinely didn't like the other games as much as Pinball Panic. Sulley's one I found incredibly difficult (and as a regular gamer, that came as quite a surpr9se) and Mike's one was the exact opposite- too easy! Pinball Panic had the right balance in terms of difficulty and I just generally found the gameplay to be more fun. Having my favourite lizard monster provide his voice for it just added another very enjoyable dimension.
