It took playing through this game on my labtop to help me feel a little better about the stupid f*cking power outage we had but since my family lives on the gulf, that's hurricanes for ya...anyway, sometimes when I have the patience, I'll play through my CarnEvil game that I have on mame, personally I would rather play it in an arcade since due to my slow computer, it can only play the game at maybe half the speed...anyway, if anybody ever comes across this old nintties game in an arcade, I would recomend playing it. It's a nice shooter with some pretty crazy stuff, also not to mention that it also got a cameo in my fic due to how much I do enjoy the game.

That was cool! and for some reason it seems familiar, i may have played it before but i don't remember. :/ Thanks, it is in my opinion, a pretty cool game...it would be awsome if Midway actually released this like on Wiiware, it would be perfect for that but Midway isn't a very big company so who knows... You can find playthrough vids of it online, maybe if you try watching some of those, if you did play the game, it might jog your memory. If not, there might be the possibility that maybe you walked past it in an arcade or you watched someone play it. Alot of arcades may not have this game so much due to it being older though...maybe when I get home, I'll post up the playthrough of all of the levels.

Like I said, posted up some vids of gameplay of the game...those watching, keep in mind that the game is violent but for limited graphics, it's not that bad. Carnevil consisted of four levels, three you had to beat in order to make it to the final level. Each level had itself a boss while some had mini bosses as well. I'll post vids of the levels starting from left to right.
The Haunted House-basically as it states, just a level that is suppossed to be a fun house, boss for this level is Hambone and Evil Marie who is based off of Marie Antonette (I probably spelled her last name wrong).
Rickety Town- A level based around themepark rides, the boss for this level is known as Krampus.
The Freakshow- This level has the more twisted types of enemies in my opinion, also, I'm pretty sure that I really don't have to explain this one. Bosses for this are Eyeclops and Jr. Interesting fact of info, in this level, you can fight an alternate final boss known as Deaddy if you switch the command in the game's menu.
The Big Top- The final level after you beat the main three.
