I just saw a review for Vampires Suck....by far the review summed up how horrible of a film it is...you know, since it's from the same dummies who makes all the other horrible spoofs.

It's indeed horrible. They didn't even take the time to actually make Twilight related jokes and instead filled it with ridiculous violence and non-funny slapstick. There were only two parts that even got a chuckle out of me and the rest made me want to hide my head in shame. Even the younger teens in the theater didn't find it funny. Seriously, I think the only age group that could perhaps appreciate this film would be the 8-11 range. Which is sad considering it's aimed at older-mid teens.
My advice would be to save your money and stick to Twilight spoofs on the net. You know, were people are actually aware of what they're parodying and aren't just basing what they know off a trailer of the movie they saw once.

I wish you would have told me that sooner, I saw it yesturday and yes, it did suck but I'm honestly seeing it as plagarism instead of parody, all it looked like was a fan version of the film! These guys somehow make money off of these films, somebody needs to seriously stop them.

Yeah, all they did was take the setting and characters and just made a bunch of idiotic slapstick around them. Sorry that I didn't get on sooner to warn you. Well, it's always good to find out for yourself, I guess :/

If Vamires Suck was made by the same group of the Scary Movie series.... Yeah...since Scary Movie 4 and on, their jokes have gotten simply distorted. We are Spartans? Disaster Movie? *shrugs* Na not that good.

I actually haven't even watched one of their movies since Scary Movie 4, which I missed half of due to getting to the movies late and didn't want to see in the first place (it was a friend's birthday). So I remember none of it. I did somewhat like the first two Scary Movies, but I haven't seen them in years and I doubt I'd find that kind of humor all that funny now.

It is RB, it's the same guys from that same franchise...I've only seen two other movies of theirs which was Stan Helsing and Epic Movie which both my brother and I saw together. The main issue I have with their films is that almost every other joke is a sex joke! I know that as guys, sex is going to come up in movies that are aimed for guys but even my brother who's nineteen and LOVES comedy found very little to laugh about with Epic Movie. The only parts that were funny in Stan Helsing were mainly the parts with Kenan Thompson which I couldn't help but feel so sorry for him having to act in this film. Vampires Suck did cut down a slight bit with the sex jokes but the few they had were given the whole twist relating to a girl's virginity in relation to Edward or to male eye candy with the actors! The sadder part is that even Twilight fans are delighted by this, when I went to watch it at 1:35, there were five girls in there who came in two groups....these girls named all of the parody versions of the characters by their names FROM THE BOOK! I wasn't sure but I'm thinking that they found it flattering that somebody was making fun of the Twilight series. And before anyone goes asking if maybe they weren't anti fans, they talked VERY excitedly about the movie after it ended....yep, they were Twilight fans. I think what would have made it actually entertaining was if it was a parody of the vampire fad in general, not focusing on just one particular part of it. Whatever referrences or jokes that they made, it was clear that you had to either read the books or for certain seen the Twilight films in order to get them at all. The casual moviegoer, at least half of this stuff would go over their heads.
