Okay, I have like, ALOT of inspiations that I really lookp to and one of them is Glen Keane. If you don't know who he is, he's the person who was the supervising animator for Ariel(The Little Mermaid), Marahute(The Rescuers: Down Under), The Beast(Beauty and the Beast) Aladdin(Aladdin), Pocahontas(Pocahontas), Tarzan(Tarzan), John Silver(Treasure Planet), and he's gonna be the animation director for the next upcoming film, "Rapunzel". And, oh, have I fallen in love with his animations... you can see his emotions come alive on these animations. Here's a blog I found ALL ABOUT Glen Keane: theartofglenkeane.blogspot.com/But, I have tried to draw characters in his style, but I came close... tell me what you think! ;D Some videos: Thanks for listening! ;D

Thank you! I was always facinated by Glen Keane's work! If you see the videos, there's one of the Transformation scene. Everytime I see that scene in pencil test, I just fall in love with the animation that this one man did! This is what I'm talking about!

Wow, that was pretty amazing, the details that went into the transformation, I had always thought that they had done a little of that on computer since they did use that for the ballroom scene.

Well, yeah. There was computor on the ballroom scene, where the surroundings are completely made of CGI, but almost everything else is made traditionally, or in other words, hand-drawn.
But they got even further with 2d films by using this program called "Deep Canvas", which is this. ;D

They used Deep Canvas several times, but they used it A WHOLE LOT in Treasure Planet. But it's all so beautiful... have you seen Princess and the Frog yet?

No I'm afraid not, due to us being short handed at work and the new school semester starting up at the oh so wonderful Islander university, I'm afraid that I haven't had any time to see any movies lately, knowing my luck, I may need to wait for it to come out on dvd and blu-ray.
