Holy hand-grenade! Disney just brought Marvel! Marvel!!! Mickey is joining the X-Men- Spidey's sharing with New York with Goliath- Wolverine's into princess dresses- Gotham City is now the Happiest place on Earth-!
Oh, all right. That's not going to happen (especially the last bit because that's DC) but still... shock.
Disney really has bought Marvel.
Whilst they're hopefully not going to tune down the wonderfully violent comic book world, it's still weird...

I doubt Disney would go as far as to change the content of the comic-based movies, considering that Disney ALSO owns companies like Touchstone. Still, the idea does seem weird to me as well.

True; they would change anything... but it's weird.
Heh. I suppose Disney can recuit the Marvel artists for comicbooks now. I wonder what that means for eople like BOOM(!) ?

Doubtful. I think Marvel is just so Disney could get something for a slightly older and male market.
(Although I also like some comics, it IS mainly a male market. I like both DC and Marvel myself.)
I think it'll just give Marvel more cash. Disney has not saved nore ruined franchises really. And there's no way of knowing the future.
I kind of doubt we'll see Hannah Montana with Iron Man.
(Shudders- Disney pop artists all look and sound the same. I can't even tell which are girls and which are boys sometimes! Man those blokes are girly. J/K)

Disney owns a ton of things, some of which do have mature content (Miramax Films). Marvel comics will not be changed or edited in any way. So there's really no need to worry.
