Now, if you'll excuse me, there's a plague in Equatorial Guinea that I have to attend.

*gasp* You get a long weekend! BUM YOU!!! And is that Queen Victoria day? Why can't WE have Queen Victoria day?! ;D That's one of the things I just don't get; why do we Canadians have a day off for Victoria Day (not that I'm complaining, of course ), and the British don't? Even my mum can't answer that (and she's British). ...Oh, and you know how the Queen has been making a tour of Canada, in the last few weeks? We were going to go see her today, but since it was pooring rain, we went and saw the new Star Wars movie instead. Does that say anything about my family? ;

*cracks up* That really sounds like a Canadian thing to do too! haha, no worries, matey, I would have done the same thing. Really? I thought they did have Victoria day in England? Strange! I wonder why that is... Visit the Starwars thread and give some valuble opinions. ;D Yeah, from the clips on CTV News of Old Mumsy, she didn't look impressed with the weather

Hey, I would've done exactly the same thing, as much as I dislike Star Wars. I mean, I don't want to sound cynical or anything, but I don't like the Queen or the royal family simply because they don't DO anything.
And yeah, why DON'T we get Victoria Day? That's so stupid! I mean, it wouldn't really make much difference anyway, since we all have the next week off because of half term, but still...It's like, you know every country has their patriotic day? Well, on St...Okay, this is proof of how much the English are unpatriotic- I don't know who our Saint is. Saint Patrick...? Perhaps...? Thing is, no-one around where we live really cares, so when the Irish are celebrating THEIR patriot's day, or the Scottish, it's weird because we don't celebrate it at all.

Woot! Story's almost done! ;D * Yes...I'm not her biggest fan either. She has given birth to an idiot who's estrange wife in turn gave birth to two and so on and so forth. Prince Harry dressing as a Nazi for a party? *bangs head on keyboard* Of course there was that infamous remark on the telephone conversation between Prince Charles and Camilla. ..*runs to bathroom* *wretching sound* *scampers back* The queen is funny to watch on Christmas morning though. I love her greetings. "Elleeeeoooo!" Hey, by the by you many many UKians, what was the marriage hype for Charles and Camilla like?

Mainly bad- everyone kept saying that Charles was making a mistake.

Camilla does bother me. She seems so fake, like she's lapping up every moment in the cameras.
Poor Di:( What of these conspiracy rumours?

Well, to be completely honest, I don't know much about it all- the royal family doesn't exactly interest me, to say the least. They all seem incredibly fake. Diana was one of those few people in the royal family that seemed to really care about everyone else. I did find it quite funny, though, when I read in the newspaper about how a little girl was going to give Camilla a bunch of flowers, but as she came up to her, she started crying and refused to talk to her until her mother shoved her right up to Camilla! ;D
