I remembered in one interview, Steve Buscemi was asked what kind of monster scared him when he was a kid, or where it was.... Anyway.... I can't remember really...
But does anybody here get scared by a monster as a kid, if so, do tell if you wish.

I didn't have a monster under my bed, but I was always nervous to leave the closet door open - still am, actually. Not because I think that a monster will jump out at me (although sometimes I think that it'd be nice *sighs over Randall*). Even now, it still bugs me whenever I leave my closet door open when I'm in my room (though perhaps that's because of the mess in there ).

He said that he was afraid of something being under the bed, that and spiders(whatsamatter with YOU, Steve-O?). He did not give any specific description of the "monster", only that as a little kid he and his brothers were scared of something being under the bed.

I was frightened of something under my bed... I thought it was monster that... actually looked a lot like a giant spider... ^_^ At night I swore I could hear something moving under my bed... The darkness freaked me out... plus my cat was probably under there making noises... It only recently occurred to me that is was probably my cat... But then again... I normally locked my cat out... !

Y'all have some outrageously big spiders in Australia, so maybe it WAS a spider! Sydney Funnel-Webs scare even ME-and I keep tarantulas as a hobby! pitbulllady

Well I live in the centre... ^_^ the biggest, most poisonous spider I've handled was a Red-Back... ^_^ I survived! .... Obviously...
I've never seen the Sydney Funnel-Web... there's probably one in the local desert park.... ^_^
Anyway! You keep Tarantulas?? Whoa! That's so cool... My mum would kill me if I tried to get one...
Nah, no spider is THAT big... whatever I was frightened of moved around a lot... I always felt as if it was going to grab my leg... scary... ~_~* (*shudder*)

My monster ... I think, in a way, recently returned. It looks a lot like the monsters on 'Bone' the comic book ... dunno if anyone here knows what I'm talking about. But he resembles a sloth, 'cept he runs fast, and he has long horns, sharp teeth, glowing red eyes ... *shudder* So many unslept nights because of that beast ... and he 'came back'. I don't have dreams anymore, just nightmares, and there's always something moving in my room ... no joke- and my cat's no longer inhabiting the place ... O__O So ... can't be her ....

Mmnn... A sloth like monster ne...? I've never seen the 'Bone' comics (nor heard of them) but it must have been scary...
When I thought the monster was under my bed I wouldn't scream... Only cry loud enough to get my parents attention...
They never found anything under there... Freaked me out a bit

Well, the whole 'monster in the closet' thing never really happened for me because in England, our houses generally don't have closets...And there's no space under my bed FOR a monster...Though I swear my soft toys are conspiring against me...

Soft toys do that to you sometimes... I should know (*glances over shoulder warily*)...
(*Teddy stares back*) Heh... O.O' (*Hugs Randall Plush closer*)
^_^ Same here... No closets for monsters to come out off...

No closets? Where do you keep your clothes and stuff then? I was completely unaware that closets were uniquely an American thing-learn something every day, I guess! One of the biggest stipulations in buying or building a new home, for many Americans, is plenty of closet space, and ideally that should include at least one large walk-in closet with a light inside. Even the old, OLD house I grew up in, which is over 200 years old and was built shortly after the Revolution in the 1700's, has a closet in the "master" bedroom and the bathroom and one HUGE closet(which could have been used as a separate room)upstairs adjacent to what may have been a "ballroom". More than likely it was used by guests to leave their coats and such when they showed up for celebrations. Sulley's entire family would have no trouble hiding in there. Shoot, Ted the Chicken could probably hide in there!
