Well, I still wouldn't eat in McDonald's. If anyone here has seen Super Size Me...? Heh. Funny film, but VERY disgusting. And yeah, I mean, it's everyone's own CHOICE if they wanna get a McDonald's or not. They can't sue the company just because they're fat! They might as well just sue themselves!

And yeah, I mean, it's everyone's own CHOICE if they wanna get a McDonald's or not. They can't sue the company just because they're fat! They might as well just sue themselves! Absolutely, 100% agree with that. *nods vigorously* And yeah, I heard LOTS about that "Super Size Me" documentary; I have NO sympathy for the dude who helmed that project. His findings: "If a person eats McDonald's everyday for a month, then he or she will get fat." Well, DUH!!! You don't need to do a stupid, disgusting experiment to figure THAT out! Sheesh! That said, I DO like the occassional McDonald's Big Mac and fries. My mom tries to stay away from picking up fast food too often, though; she prefers to cook meals at home, where she has complete control over the ingredients. She's also been trying to cook healthier, and since she's a fantastic cook, her healthy meals are quite excellent, and the fast food is hardly missed. ;D ~Light Rises

Well, can anyone shed any light on the subject, how it is that a women successfully sued Mcdonalds for spilling her coffee, burned herself, and sueing because there wasn't a warning label like 'Caution: Hot'?
Is it me, or am I missing the bigger picture?

3rd Degree burns? Ouch.
Still, everytime I think of that story, I somehow feel there is a lack of Common Sense going on.
Or is it something else?

Well, both of my parents are chefs, so fast food is usually a no-no. ;D

It must be nice having two chefs in the family! I CAN cook pretty decent food, but rarely have time to actually do so. Plus, I hate cleaning up the messy pots and pans afterwards. It's a pain cooking for just one person, anyway, and not worth the effort. I used to cook when my grandparents were still alive, but I rarely do nowadays. It's often easier, and cheaper, just go order take-out.

It IS nice having two chefs, but my mum usually does the cooking because my dad's at work cooking all day. ;D
