Hey, you've watched Kill Bill (obviously) so maybe you can tell me why the HELL they keep beeping out Uma Thurman's name in the films right up until near the end. I mean, it's quite funny, but I don't really see why. ;D

Lol...everybody wants to know that. ;D They just wanted her name to be kept a secret, so that when Elle finally says something about the grave of "Beatrix Kiddo," it's like a revelation and you finally know who "The Bride" is.

Oh...right...yeah, I had a laughing fit in the first conversation that they did that. It really was quite funny.

Yeah. I like Beatrix, not as much as Randall. ^_^
I don't know. I guess she shows my Knightlyhood side of myself.

Kill Bills are really weird films though, aren't they? I mean, I LOVED the bit in...I can't remember whether it was the first one or the second one, but it was all in an anime sort of style for like ten minutes. It was really cool. ;D

Yeah, that was in Volume 1...the death of O-Ren's parents, and how she became an assassin. ;D The movies ARE weird, but that's what makes them so great, I think! They're a blend of many different genres.

Whoa, this topic grew...
Okay, sorry it took eons for me to get back to this board. I've had loads of stress put on me lately and web surfing for leisure was the last thing on my mind... And after that experience, when I had time to fall dead on my bed and listen to some music, I thought about how much Randall's life must have sucked, although my own personal burdens definitely came nowhere even close to his own...
I have to say, pitbulllady, that I was impressed by some of the problems you addressed in your post. Nice. Although it took time to sink in, I can see where you (and apparently everyone else on this board) are coming from. That, and the fact that I began to warm up to Randall.... in more ways than just one, contributed a bit more. I don't have much else to say, really; I wanted to clear that up before anything else and just continue on with a Randall-ish obsession which is slowly but surely consuming the time I should be listening to my philosophy lectures in class. Frankly, it's just consuming me, period. But it's fun.

Consuming you? I think pretty much everyone on this board has experiance of that. After all, Randall's a very...consumingcharacter. And yeah, lol, I'd rather think about Randall than listen to lectures too! ;D

That's what a few friends of mine said... But then again, they didn't seem too enthused with the idea of more schooling, sooooo I guess they're now working full time jobs at McDonald's or Target.
What will you do in the meantime?

McDonald's? *shudder* Wouldn't want to work there- at our local McDonald's, during a kid's party, this lady who was serving the children their food got sliced up- and killed- by a fellow co-worker. Made the front page.
