Music, aww music.
Everyday, I personally, have to listen to atleast one song. I love music, music makes me feel happy when I'm sad, angry, hurt, ect... I'm one of those people who possibly can't live or feel good without music in their life. Music is what keeps me sane most of the time.
I personally like - Techno, Trance, Dance, J-Pop/Rock (japanese pop/rock), Classical, Techno MIXED with Classical, and some other ones, but those I just listen to whenever. The ones I have listed fully are the ones I listen to the most.
I'm one of those dance freaks. I always wanted to go to a rave, but I can't drive (old enough, but my state won't let you get a permit till you're 17 or 18).
Yeah, just post your favorite kinds of music, not the group or anything, just the genre. =3
I LIVE WITH A NEW AVATAR! *flees again*

I like a wide range. Pretty much anything except new age Rap. Punk and metal are probably my favorite genres though. 80's and 90's FONY! You said it!

I'm obsessed with soundtracks. ^_^ I especially love really well put-together coral bits and orchestral music. Classical music rocks. My iPod has some really random stuff on it, from Linkin Park to benedictine monks (Gregorian chants).... uh, yeah. I detest "pop", "bebop" and "rap"; but j-pop is acceptable. For the record, I do have the MI soundtrack too. ;D Oh, and I just adore your avatar, MelTSS! Yay for movie!Alphonse! ("It turns out my soul is easily detachable." ^_^)

I like music too! I like soundtracks and a few rock. But I really dislike those rock music where the singers scream the words and all.
And I also love jazz music!

Well, I have some Final Fantasy soundtracks as well as Suikoden II, which is an EXCELLENT soundtrack. I'm a personal fan of Harry Gregson-Williams who did the soundtracks to The Rock, (GREAT soundtrack) Armageddon, (a Steve movie), and the Shrek movies to name a few. I also like James Newton Howard, who did the soundtrack for Dinosaur, I think that opening theme is one of the greatest orchestral pieces ever. His whole music through that movie was simply astounding. Those are some of my recommendations, not sure if you'll like any of em, but they worked for me. ^_^ And yes Veg, Jazz music is awesome. ^_^ Benny Goodman is in fact one of my fav all time musicians and composers! He was truly the "King of Swing" as one of his titles implied. Such a shame that he died 15 days before I was born though.

I love Trance, and sort of very light rock, but usually trance. Some classical stuff is quite good too- the soundtrack to this film which basically tracks our every day lives and doesn't have any real speech, but has a title in a different language which I can't remember, is absolutely amazing. I'll get back to you if I can find out what it is. ;D

game music yes, Yasunori Mitsuda is the best composer ever. Xenogears, Xenosaga I, Chrono Cross to name a few. The Xenogears one is him at his greatest in my opinion.

I mainly listen to Rock. ;D Mainly the heavystuff, I love the emotion that goes into it. I'm also fond of piano music and sympthony, both of which I know NOTHING about, I just think it's pleasent to hear. I haven't listened to a lot of Jazz, but I like what I HAVE heard ;D I know what you mean, MelTSS, I can't live without my music
