I was thinking about making a board. Can anyone tell me how to get started?

I don't know... I'm starting Web Development this semester...so all I know is what I learn from that.

Well personally, this is a guess... But I think what you have to do is go to a general board internet company (such as EZ Board) and register for a "board site".

Okay, never mind. I signed up on Proboards and finally made a board! The only problem is that is shows the Login or Registration thing instead of the main board for guests.

Hmm...seems like a setting for the whole board... Head into your Administrator options and look in there. I've seen things like this. Such as here, you can go in and read discussions. On others, you can see the posts, but can't read them... This one is kinda like that.
