Just posted this up on my journal, but since few people actually see it I'll post it here. It's like the note I wanted to write to her/ say to her.

You know since I've been to university I guess you could say I've experienced more things in life than I never really had before.
Such as Freedom.
And Real responsibility.
But there was one thing I didn't really count on.
Being discrimicated against...
Because I'm WHITE.
Dear Miss Asshole/fellow student what is your PROBLEM?
My only crime was to glance, perhaps look at you for about 1 second as you sat down near me at my desk in that library.
My reason was simple: I thought for that one second you were someone I knew. A close aquaintance in fact who I don't really hang out with but who I stop and have conversations with on occasion.
When I looked away (realising you were not her) and went back to my work before I heard what you said to your boyfriend/male friend.
"That girl just looked at me".
Midly irritated I decided to listen in on your little 'conversation'. Perhaps that was wrong, but seeing as how you were talking about me I decided that that sort of cancelled it out. I deserved to know what two fooking absolute STRANGERS were going to say about me.
Turns out just because I looked at you and I'm white you think I'm a racist. I just have to say it:
WHAT. THE. fook.?!
Just because you're black, and I'm white and I look at you for a split second I am racist?
I cried on the way back home- are you happy? Now I'm just plain ANGRY.
Where the hell is the logic in what you said? You even knew I was listening, you also knew I didn't have the balls/was too upset to confront you.
There is no logic to it, it's complete and utter BULL. As I said I know people who aren't white and I get on fine with them. It's not like it's a big deal.
You don't know me and yet you judge me- what's the word for that- Oh yes.
It's called predujuce.
Racism works both ways beach.
Congratulations asshole you're a racist.
You must be so proud of yourself.
--
Just a question to anyone else out there- what should I do?
I feel so MAD about this.
