...And, hopefully, if all goes well, the first chapter should be up by Christmas. I've abandoned my old fics, but I have missed writing about Randall, so this is going to sort of be like my final Randall story. But, to make things a little different, for each chapter, I am going to draw a piece of fanart related to said chapter. Therefore, it's going to take a little longer to post things, but hopefully it will be up and running (relatively) soon.

I'm looking forward to it, as well-should be a nice diversion from my not-so-happy existance right now. School is about to kill me-literally-the stress is causing my blood sugar to rise and fall uncontrollably, and even with TWO prescription blood pressure medicines, it's through the roof. I just hope I can make it until Christmas "vacation"!

We're on ours right now, but I'm not sure how many semesters you have in a year, so whether or not you have them. And for those who really are desperately in need of a little Randall fan fiction, there's a newbie on FF.net who just posted the first chapter of her (?) first story. She's a growing Randall fan, so I've referred her to BB, and hopefully she'll join. Here's the link to it- it's short, but pretty well written. www.fanfiction.net/s/3215938/1/

Here's the link to it- it's short, but pretty well written. www.fanfiction.net/s/3215938/1/School districts in America vary a great deal as to how long students and staff have to attend, when breaks are, and so forth. Even within my homestate of South Carolina, each district has its own schedule. Lee County, the district I work for, does not take half-term breaks, or fall breaks, or anything of the sort. We start school the first week of August, get Labor Day(first Monday in September)off, and we won't see another break until the end of November, when we get three days for Thanksgiving. Given the pressure that teachers are under, due to the district's poor performance on the state's standardized tests, the total lack of parent support(parents tend to be of the state of mind that teachers and any other authority figures, like police officers, are "The Enemy" who is out to "get" their little "babies"), and a whole district office-full of Henry J. Waternooses and paperwork-obsessed Roz clones, the stress level on teachers is extremely high, and consesquently, absences due to health reasons are high. To combat this, rather than recognize that their own policies are to blame, the district officials have tightened down on sick day leave and eliminated "personal leave days" altogether, so you can't now just take a day off to "recharge". My situation is worse because I teach Art, so I'm not really thought of as a "real" teacher, AND I have to travel between two different schools, paying for my own gasoline. I also have to pay for my students' Art supplies from my own pocket, because the district does not fund the Art instruction classes. Like I said, a new Randall story from you would be a welcome bit of respite. pitbulllady

Oh, wow...So it really is a full run from the end of summer to the end of autumn! And you have to pay for your students' art supplies? But that can be so expensive! Aww, Pitbulllady, things sound tough for you now. Well, hey, if a new fanfic can cheer you up, then that just makes it worth it in itself.

I am really looking forward to it and seeing the little art you will post up. Reminds me of a friend of mine who does that whenever I send her a chapter for the Cluny fanfic I'm working on.
