Cruelty in the human world

Well, I was watching a little bit of PETA TV, and I got inspired to write this story. I´m gonna put it in Fanfiction.net when I find out where to go after editing the document! In the meantime, tell me what you think.

1. A monster´s misery

¨Are we ready to start the show? ¨ An animal trainer said to a crowd of people, standing outside of one of those cages lions perform in the circus.
¨Yeah! ¨ The crowd cheered.
A reptile monster opened one eye. ¨Oh no, not this again! ¨
The animal trainer opened the cage door. ¨Here he comes! ¨
Everyone did ooh´s and ahh´s as the purple scaled monster came out. He collapsed to the ground. Everyone laughed. The animal trainer grabbed the monster’s tail and began dragging him. ¨Come on, you gotta get up! ¨ The crowd laughed. The trainer stood over the monster.
¨Randall get up or I’ll sue ya! ¨ The crowd laughed again.
Randall flinched as he stood up and sat on an overturned tub.
The trainer turned to the audience.¨Now watch ladies and gentlemen, as Randall will give you all a big smile.¨
He turned to Randall.
¨Randall…SMILE!!!¨ He screamed it so loud, as if everyone was deaf. Randall glared at him. The trainer stuck his fingers in the corner of Randall’s mouth and pulled it up; making it look like Randall was doing a stupid, silly grin.
¨Randall…SMILE!!!¨
The crowd roared with laughter. Nobody noticed the light of misery shining in the poor creature’s eyes.

Aww, now wasn´t that sad?

Poor fellow. I can imagine a lot of animals feeling this way.

Hah! You must have read my mind! ;D Yes, a lot of animals are miserable when humans force them to do stupid and unnatural things.

It's horrible when animals are treated like that, as though they are incapable of feeling unhappy.

Humans are still animals no matter what....heh heh...the word Slave comes to mind....Humans may be a dominant race....but they take that for granted....

Like in War of the Worlds! I mean, we now dominate the world, but it's ever so easy for another race just to come and destroy us all.

It's like the Matrix. The Human race "dominated" by a superior race....
Of course....we are being watched by an advanced civilization that has taken interest in the Human Race...though are unsure whether to establish contact...

2. Caught!

As Randall laid in his cage that night, he stared at the cage’s ceiling and thought about what had
happened since his banishment. Well, a mad old lady had whacked him thirty times with a
shovel, causing brutal injuries. Then the woman called the police and Randall was sold to a
carnival for a sideshow attraction. The guy who made the sideshow attraction, made Randall
climb thirty feet and then dive into a pool of water below. It was a terrifying experience, jumping
off a thirty foot ladder into a deep pool of water. After a few weeks of that, the owner decided
he didn’t need Randall anymore and sold him to the guy he is stuck with now. For two months,
Randall suffered abuse from the trainer. Well that was that! Randall reached for a small stick
outside of his cage and used it to pick the lock.
“Come on, come on,” he mumbled.
Click.
Randall grinned as the cage door opened.
“All right, I’m out of here!”
Off he went into the forest.
“Good bye show biz! I’m going off to find a new closet door and get back to Monstropolis!”

Randall traveled for a few hours when the sun came up. Randall wiped his forehead.
“Whew! How long is it until the next town? I’m sure it can’t be far now. Maybe two or three miles or
maybe—”
SNAP!
A metal jaw clamped down on Randall’s leg. Randall screamed with pain
as he jumped into the air. The jaw clamped on tighter. Randall grabbed on to the chain and bit
it. Unfortunately, the chain was so hard, it almost broke Randall’s teeth. He struggled to get
away, but the more he struggled, the jaw clamped on tighter and tighter. Exhausted, Randall quit
struggling. He heard footsteps coming closer and closer.
“Well, lets see what I caught. A fox maybe? A wolf may be nice. Or maybe a white-furred ermine.”
The footsteps came closer and closer still.

Oh boy....I sense hunting experience....

All right, this chapter is so, so...sad! It made me cry! The chapter describes the worst cruelty Randall had to endure.

3. Out of the woods, into the lab


Randall sat on the bare metal cage floor, staring blankly at the other cages in front of him. The
hunter who set the trap didn’t wanted him because he didn’t had any fur, so he sold him to a lab
named “Covance.” Each cage had a macaque and nothing else. Some of the macaques were
rocking, spinning and even back-flipping from lack of space. Randall tried to get a bit of shut-
eye but it wasn’t easy since the radio was blaring all the time and the constant shouting of the
experimenters. Randall gave up on sleeping and thought about what to do. If the cage wasn’t the
bare minimum, he could have paced around. He listed everything blue.
The sky, bluebirds, his tail, the ocean, Sullivan.
He listed things that are green.
Grass, trees, moss, frogs, plants, Wazowski.
He listed things that were purple, orange, yellow and pink. After that, he was bored.
The cage seemed to be closing into him, trapping him. He wanted to stick his head out and
scream,
“HELP! The world is coming to an end!”
Suddenly the door swung open and in came
two experimenters.
“Get subject #5736.” One experimenter said. The other experimenter nodded and went over to Randall’s cage. Randall growled. The cage door opened and a hand shot in, grabbing Randall’s legs. Randall growled ferociously and struggled. The other hand
shot in, grabbing Randall’s neck. They dragged him out of the cage in an uncomfortable position.
They dragged him over to a female experimenter with this some sort of eye dropper thing, except
it was bigger and filled with a pink fluid.
“Come on!” The experimenter snarled. “Get that
animal over here.”
“I will if he will stop struggling!” said the experimenter who was holding Randall. Randall growled and struggled harder, slapping his tail against the experimenter’s leg.
“Why you little **! My gosh don’t touch me, I hate that!”
“Well I hate this!” Randall growled.
“Get the **** animal over here!” said the experimenter holding the eyedropper.
The experimenters wrenched open Randall’s mouth.
“Come on!” one experimenter said. “ram it
down.”
“Yeah, I’ll ram it down his **** throat.”
Randall felt a tube going down his throat,
down to his stomach. He felt the hot liquid pour down into his stomach. The experimenters
cursed and made fun of Randall, but he ignored it. But then one experimenter said something
that Randall couldn’t ignore.
“He’s evil, evil!”
Randall felt a sharp twang of sadness when he
heard that word. Evil? That is what the other monsters think of reptilian monsters. Reptile
monsters weren’t evil. Just misunderstood, and now the humans think he’s evil? After a few
hours of being like that, the tube came out. Randall snapped his jaws at the experimenter. The
experimenter jumped.
“He tried to bite me!”
Randall bared his fangs at the experimenter. The
experimenter shook her fist at Randall.
“You tried to bite me! I’ll remember that!” Randall
glared at the experimenter.
“And I’ll remember your ugly face!”
The experimenters dragged Randall back to his cage and threw—literally threw—him in.
“We’ll be back for you,” One experimenter threatened. “Oh we’ll be back.”
The experimenters wandered off to find a monkey
for more painful experiments. Randall noticed the macaques staring at him. He clenched his teeth. "WHAT ARE YOU GUYS LOOKING AT?!!" The macaques went on minding their own buisiness. Randall fell to the floor of the cage and groaned. No words could
describe his misery, nor could it describe the burning pain in his stomach.

I'm a little off by this....
Then again.....scientists often put me off....ehh....I hate that place....

All right, here is the next chapter. It's better than the last three chapters.

4. Freedom!

Randall laid on his belly, staring off into space in his cage. For the past few weeks he lived in
this cruel lab. He had witnessed several things:

1. Experimenters choking and hitting uncooperative monkeys
2. Monkeys suffering from horrible diseases
3. Monkeys with wounds that was left untreated
4. The Experimenters drenching the monkeys with hoses when it was time to clean the cages
5. Nonstop blaring rock and roll music
6. Monkey’s going in a room and never coming back.

The experimenters used Randall sometimes for other experiments, like pumping this pink sticky
stuff in his stomach or the blood test. Randall heard the same footsteps. There stood the
experimenter.
“Now I don’t want any problems from you!”
Randall stared calmly at the experimenter as it unlatched the cage door. Then he charged, knocking over the scientist. The monkeys in the cages began to screech. More experimenters burst into the room to see what was going on. Randall raced toward the open door, sliding between their legs. He charged through hallways and finally out the door. The sun was shining bright. It felt good.
It was freedom!

Yes, he was with monkeys, in a company called "Covance" where they test cruel experiments on monkeys.
