Yes, I agree, it works.
Heh, yes Ran. First I've had in a long time. Quite vivid too.
Oh, that's okay, I like the fact that this is a community in and of itself, and people can share things here. I don't want to interrupt your work, but maybe at a later date/time. Like you said, you guys have been through things and I don't doubt it. If so, much appreciated.

"Hmm...Sean..."
Yeah....just asking before, if you tell about, you tell...it doesn't have anything to do with Randall's parents does it?
Very well.
"Hmm...sometimes...in even simple situations...figuring out something for yourself is ok...but that doesn't mean you can't have help..."
That's deep...
"Hmm..."

Yes, that's the odd thing, it did have to do with them partly. It was.......sad.....At least some of it. The rest was pretty profound.
Thank you Randall, that's true. Everyone needs help at least once in their lives. This is probably the first real time I've actually not been able to deal with things on my own. Sometimes odds are just too much against you, as I'm sure you know.

Yeah odd.
"Hey, it's Vee! The guy from before"
Yes that's right. He's actually offered to talk with me. Speaking of which, have a few minutes, or do you want to get started on your pic? Either way's okay.
"Really? He did?"
Yes

I am enjoying this story so far! I'm trying to write my own Kingdom Hearts fanfic, but I never played the game and I don't know how it begins. ARGH!

There will be pieces of Kingdom Hearts from Sora's view in this later on, as me and him have conflicting paths.

Alright. I decided to skip a few intro stuff (mainly mini-games), and started to go head-first. This chapter formally introduces Vee as well as set the plot into gear.
Chapter 3 A Dragon, A Dream
Sean pulled his hood off of his head and opened the doors of home. The metal door creaked loudly as he entered. The sight outside was dark, night really. The sounds of bellowing thunder made themselves aware in the distance. The rain was spraying like a large sprinkler, though not so heavy to be considered a storm. As soon as he closed the door, Sean pulled the hood off of his head, looking down at his drenched clothes, his hair dripping small orbs of clear liquid as it swayed with his movements. He shook like a dog, several water droplets falling as he started to unzip his coat. The sound echoed through the staircase as he pulled the suit off, swinging it over his shoulder, being reminded again of how cold it was outside. “Great...soaked...” he commented to himself. Finding it as just an inevitability, he shook his head and started up the stairs to the second level. Reminding himself that it was an apartment complex, Sean had to remind himself which door was the one he was looking for. But, of course, the door actually found him. Sean backed off as the door to his left blew open, falling to the floor with a loud bang as a few dust particles sprayed around. The action was quick, and he was already set to see what had happened. But he calmed down as soon as he saw the blue form coughing up dust from above the door. Sean just shook his head and folded his arms. “Vee...” he said. “What? It’s not my fault those gatekeepers are getting rougher on me for some reason!”. Vee rose to his feet, dusting himself off as Sean reminded himself of Vee’s past “incidents”. Vee. Really called a Veemon actually. Vee was a Digimon. It really is quite hard to explain what a Digimon really is, but Sean pieced together what he knew, and practically didn’t care why. Digimon were Digital Monsters that lived in the Digital World, the world that is within computers and technology. Apparently, it was as if Data, Vaccines, and Viruses took on the form of real AI life forms, and thus, lived their computer-centralized life in the Digital World, similar to the “Real”, or “Human”, world. It was a vast place that kept growing and growing. As far as Sean could remember, he had spent countless years with Vee, given the fact that the Digital World seems to slow time in the Human World, that, or it goes really fast. So a year here would mean several in the Digital World. Together, the two hard struggled through several hardships, protecting both worlds from apparent destruction. But...it was not without a few loses of course... Sean shook his head, discarding the memories for the time being and helping Vee off the door. Vee probably was about waist-high to Sean. Although, size didn’t really matter in Sean’s opinion, Vee was as strong as grown men. But in any case, Vee resembled a dragon without wings. He had large hip bones and flat feet with three front claws, kind of like a raptor. His body was blue, with the exception of his chest, which was white. Down his back were three spines, though they didn’t appear to be sharp. Vee’s tail was about arm length and rather thick, but he seemed to have no trouble swaying it. Vee’s face was hard to picture however. His mouth was slightly gagged, having four, two on each side, teeth showing from time to time. But from his silver, pointed nose, down to the sides of his face was white. Other than that, the edges of the side of his head ended in two triangles, leading up to his two zigzag-like extensions, like a hat you’d see jesters wear. But other than that, Vee was like a dragon. “I got your message” Vee said, trying to rub off some smut from the side of his face as he did. Sean perched his back against a wall, thinking on Vee’s first words. “What do you mean about the gatekeepers?”. “The guys at the D.S.G?” Vee asked. Sean nodded. The D.S.G. stood for Digital Security Guard. It was an organization of Digimon that were appointed positions to protecting the Digital World and it’s connections to the Real World. Vee, and Sean himself, were top members of the facility. “They were really weird for some reason...guard-shift change or something...I couldn’t tell...”. At first, Sean thought it was weird that had never happened before. Adding to that, he never expected that Vee would to be flung through a door. Thinking on it, Sean leaned out and looked inside the room Vee came though. The room was pretty much barren, same for the open, now powered-down, laptop sitting on a crate. He reminded himself he had made the room for Vee so he could come when he was called. It linked directly to the D.S.G. “Sean!”. Sean and Vee both looked down the hall toward the stairwell, Randall coming over with a concerned look on his face. He was going to say something before he noticed Vee, giving the little blue dragon a narrow eye. It hadn’t been that long since the two first met. Actually, it was quite the ironic situation. Most of Sean’s money came from him publishing books. In his spare time, he did fanfiction on Randall, even going so far as to have Randall account his own story on the Internet. Funny. It was him telling his own story, but people would think it was fiction. In any case, Sean thought of a crossover of Vee and Randall meeting each other. Curiosity eventually led to Vee coming to see Sean and the two smacking into each other, literally. Although through Sean, they consider each other friends, as Randall helped explained more technical aspects of computers to Vee, while Vee helped in Randall’s recovery. Though they still, for some reason, both each other like squabbling brothers. Faintly, Sean wouldn’t have it any other way. “Anyway...” Randall started, looking at Sean. “Come on! The shower’s gonna start soon...and I don’t think any of us have enough life to see the next one come by...”. With an excited look, Vee was already starting past Randall, who abruptly turned the thing into a race. Sean just looked amused, walking as he heard Vee’s footsteps on the stairs and Randall climbing onto the wall to get there first. * The shower was something to behold. Of course, everyone’s arms, excluding Randall of course, were getting tired from holding an umbrella. They all looked up, light emanating off their faces. The light came from the stripes that flew through the sky as the rain poured down. The falling stars flew over like an artists swipes his canvas with a brush. Randall starred at the stars, his eyes reflecting the glow. For some reason, he felt allot better about the mess he had to go through. Thought didn’t matter much anymore. Vee was just thinking everyday should have a beautiful sight like this. Everyday you’d look up to see the sky shinning. Sean smiled at their pleased looks. It really was a spectacle. He began thinking of where they came from and how they do what they do. Star showers. Stars flowing past like jets leaving a stream of smoke. He began thinking if Randall and Vee’s world might be seeing the same thing. Funny. He’d seen Randall’s before and lived Vee’s. But in every world there is always a sky. Maybe every world…had the same sky. Yes. Different worlds…same sky. “Sean…” “Huh?”. The last flash caught his attention. The flash was built upon by more till Sean was nearly blinded by the light. Sean narrowly opened his eyes; the whole place around him was illuminated. “Sean…” “Who’s there…”. The voice was a strange one. It sounded…like an old man…but one who’s voice made it impossible to determine. “Sean…Sora…” “Who?” “Sora…Sean…”. “My my…”. Sean was about to demand what was going on, till a scream from reality broke the barriers, and his memory of the event vanished.

This story has great emotions in it, which I've said before, but it comes even stronger in this chapter. Very well done with the mood. ^_^
