LOL! I love Bubba! Reminds me a lot of my brother. But...Plankton's not a shrimp! He's just a plankton based on an actual thing of flotsam and jetsam with one eyeball. Microscopic! Poor Randall would be very hungry afterwards. ;D

Ah, Plankton, always a personal favorite, along with Puck, Dracula, Randall (bien sur), Oogy Boogie, Baron Von Rothbart (ballet version, not toon version), Magneto, Antonio Sallieri, Johnny C., Shmee, and Bill from "Kill Bill".
Gotta love the bad guys
Edit June 7: What I mean when I call Randall a villain is that he comitted nefarious deeds, but he is not totally irredeemable.

Ah, Plankton, always a personal favorite, along with Puck, Dracula, Randall (bien sur), Oogy Boogie, Baron Von Riothbart (ballet version, not toon version), Magneto, Antonio Sallieri, Johnny C., Shmee, and Bill from "Kill Bill". Gotta love the bad guys I don't consider Randall to be a "villain", although he is usually listed as such, while Mr. Waternoose's name is left off completely(WTF?)! Randall did some bad things, but he was acting under duress and under the complete control of someone else, rather than on his own total initiative. That makes him more of a "minion" than a true villain. I normally don't like the Bad Guys. Yeah, they are often funny and the most interesting characters in a movie, but beyond that, there's little to like. I usually cannot sympathize with them at all, let alone empathize. Most of them are flat-out ugly in appearance, or at least scary. They are usually just so mean and unpleasant, for no apparent reason, that I'm glad when they finally "get what's coming to 'em". That never was the case with Randall, though I utterly despise the REAL villain of that movie, Henry J. Waternoose. The only real villain I REALLY like, and can feel sympathy for, is Buddy Pine, aka "Syndrome", in "The Incredibles". Even though he DID do a lot of bad things on his own, I still felt sorry for him because for once I got to see HIS side of the story and see where he was coming from. He's more emotionally disturbed and in need of serious professional help than punishment. And besides, he's one of the few real villains who is pretty decent eye candy! pitbulllady

Yeah, I'm not a bad guy lover too. I usually go for the out and out good guys, if I'm honest, because even though they may be cheesy, you just gotta love 'em! ;D But Randall's different. It's as though, when you look in his eyes, you can see a whole different person- someone troubled, and in need of a little- or, preferably, a lot- of love, and there's something inside of me that makes me want to be there for him and provide that love. I find his sort of personality attractive; many call it a sort of slimy, sleazy personality, but I don't find Randall to be like that at all- I find he's more slick, sly, cunning, and those traits, I think, are positive. He seems so intelligent, too, not just 'some dumb animal', and the range of feelings he can portray between moments is amazing- one second he'll be absolutely furious, yet the next, he'll be eerily calm. He's constantly moving, flowing, and physically he's amazing- look at those scales, his tail, those fronds and, most importantly, his eyes! He's the epitomy of beauty in every form!

Very well-stated! I know that a lot of reviewers have described Randall as "cunning" and "sly" as if that were a BAD thing, but Randall has had to develope those traits to SURVIVE. He's had to live by his wits, with no one to support him, emotionally or financially, but himself. Whatever he's needed or wanted, he's had to struggle to get, and probably in many cases has had opportunities yanked away from him. He's learned to be distrustful of others and not to count on anyone else.

Oooh. I'm a villain fanatic, lol ;D Umm ... McLeach and Joanna are hilarious. (Rescuers Down Under) And of course I love Hades. Maleficent has to be the best villain of all time. =) Hmm ... Syndrome I like also. Oh ... and as much as I love Batty from Fern Gully, Hexxis was incredible. ^^ And I like Forte ... a bit. He has class, but I like Fife more ... Forte and Hexxis were both voiced by Tim Curry! xD lol, I love him. Riff Raff HAS to be my number one favorite, in both animated and non animated films. Richard O'Brien's the best! Frollo! ^^ Judge Claude Frollo to be precise. Clopin's better ... but I love fooling around with jokes about him. He rawks. The Fates from Hercules were cool too. Not exactly on the bad side but not good either. In-between, I guess. Professor Snape's not really a villain- he's a spy for Dumbledore (the good guys) ... I guess I like him 'cause Alan Rickman played him ... yes that's it. Otherwise I would not read Harry Potter books. Can't think of any more at the moment ^^;

I know, I know, Henchman/Minion/Sidekick ... whatever. And she sorta ditched him in the end.
Let's not get too specific, please. ^^;

Yea, more like a villain's abused pet. Frollo is cool and definitely an example of a villain. Oooh, and Maleficent and Forte! Them too. 'Course, I feel sorta bad for Forte...I mean, when he was human, the beast-prince treated him like trash...when he wrote a nice song in his honor...geeeez.... And Snape. Ahhh. Yeah, he's not a villain either....though he's somewhat shady and dark and mysterious and hot and all that...whoops, did I say hot? ;D Oh well, it's truth. P.S.: Hexxis is soooo scary. *shiver*
