They never explained what happened to Wilt. But many people make really sad fanfictions of what COULD'VE happened, and they always make me cry ... I care a lot for Wilt, even though he's just a cartoon character ^^

I wouldn't call Wilt "just a cartoon character" anymore than Randall is. I don't know, but he's one of those characters that just seems to reach out and grab ahold of people. In a lot of ways he IS a lot like Randall, but more like Randall COULD be if it weren't for all that mess with the Scream Extractor, though I doubt Randall would EVER have been quite as accomodating and apologetic as Wilt is, LOL! Still, I DO think he, like Randall, has had an awful past, but UNLIKE Randall, he's learned to get over it...more or less. That overwillingness to help others-ANY others-even sacraficing his own free time, and willingness to accept blame for things he didn't do could very well be a coping strategy of dealing with some unpleasant memories. With Randall, it's practical jokes and lashing out in anger.

This is the story I live by- I'm pretty sure it's a fanfic too. But ... this is what I think really happened with Wilt, but they probably wouldn't get too dramatic- Wilt was created by a girl who loved Basketball. They played every chance they got. One day, it was discovered that the girl had asthma. She was put in the hospital after a horrible asthma attack. Her brother was sad and annoyed, and he blamed Wilt for what happened to his sister, and he kicked him out on the streets. I guess after that he somehow found his way to Foster's. Very believable and understandable story though ... here's the link- I think I left out that the girl died =( www.fanfiction.net/s/2131397/1/

According to TVTome.com, he was abandoned by his family; they just up and left him, though WHY, I have no idea, unless he wasn't always as nice as he is now. Maybe there was this really nasty side that he's only shown little bits of so far. His current overly-nice behavior might be to try to hide that aspect, if it has caused trouble in the past.
As a HEADS UP, "The Big LeBlooski", the episode with Steve Buscemi in it, will air THIS EVENING at 7:00 pm for those who get The Cartoon Network! There will also be four back-to-back episodes tomorrow morning. Time to buy some new VHS tapes, I guess.

Well, I finally saw it! Two episodes today, the one where Eduardo tries to keep the puppy in the Home & the one with Mrs. Foster's bowling team and an imaginary friend teaches Mac how to bowl. Bloo certainly reminds me of Mike! Coco is quite funny; a palm tree airplane bird? The CN site says that she helped a little girl on a deserted island, which would make total sense because you'd see palm trees and birds on an island, but also wish for a plane to come rescue you. Something drove her crazy, though, apparently. Eduardo is sweet, and Wilt is adorable...he has a great personality. This is definitely a cute show, I think I'll be seeing it more often..

I SAW HIM! I saw Steve...and John Goodman! They were behind Mac, to the right of the screen in the background right after Mdm. Foster kicked him off the team and right before he meets "Bowling Paul".
I am still soooo stoked about this episode, which was clearly a Steve Buscemi Appreciation Episode if ever there WAS one! Not only was HE in it, but did you notice the scene where Mdm. Foster and her...ahem, bowling team are entering the bowling ally? Anyone notice any similarities to "Armageddon" and a certain PIXAR movie, hmmmm? Didya notice WHOSE position Wilt occupied in that scene, hmmmm? He totally had the Randall Boggs Groove down pact, same walk, same expression, the whole nine yards, y'all! He can also twirl a 12-pound bowling ball on the end of his finger, and make enormous hook shots with the dang thing, which ought to impress even Bob Parr! Not quite as humble as Randall when he succedes at something, though...shows off even worse than Sullivan and Wazowski did, but hey, if you're that good, you deserve to pat yourself on the back....and moonwalk across the floor and do splits. At least HIS success was due to REAL talent, NOT some CEO rigging things behind the scenes, thank you very much!
Those old ladies reminded me so much of old ladies I've known, right down to the one with the hearing aid and the one with the motor chair, and their cut-throat attitudes when it came down to bowling, canasta, poker, or whateve their game may be. I know a lot of people found sweet Mdm. Foster out-of-character in this episode, yelling at people and cutting them down, but lots of sweet little old ladies are JUST like that when it comes to winning! And, is it just me, or did Mrs. Jerkins remind anyone else, in voice anyway, of the Redneck Shovel-Wielding Bee-atch in the trailer? I swear, she sounded just like her...I kept expecting her to start complaining about "more gators" and go after the Foster's team with that *&^% shovel!
Then, the whole thing with "Bowling Paul" and his "Zen" bowling with Jedi references-hilarious! Poor Eduardo's "creeper" ball-that got a strike-"Take THAT, you MEANIES!" And who knew Bloo could bowl, even though he stinks at paddle ball? There were more in-jokes in this episode than in a Pixar movie; I'll have to watch it again on tape, since I'm sure I missed a lot.
In the words of another red-head, "I'm STILL Geekin' out over it!"

Oh, I saw them- I was sure that was them ;D
Bloo is a lot like Wazowski, but he's ... funnier and a whole lot nicer ;D
I didn't see the part with Wilt walkin' this time, but the last time I saw it I remember ... I never realized it may be somewhat related to Armageddon ^^; I've seen that walk in several films ....

In "Armageddon", Steve Buscemi plays a character called "Rockhound", who is part of the team that sets out to destroy the asteroid. THAT scene was actually spoofing "The Right Stuff", which was about the Apollo moon landing. Of course, the "Armageddon" scene was spoofed in "Monsters, Inc.", with Randall occupying the exact same spot on the team that his voice actor did in "Armageddon", and now, of course, it was spoofed yet-again(and is still funny)in "Foster's..." with Wilt occupying the Steve/Randall position on the team, right down to Randall's trademark walk, with Randall's trademark little smirk! It was just tooo perfect! I missed the one earlier this morning, with the puppies, but it's coming on later this week, I think, and I'll be recording all of them, so hopefully I'll catch it.

Rockhound: I remember this one! This is one where the coyote sat his ass in a slingshot then strapped himself to an acme rocket. Is that what we're doing here? Truman: [under his breath] Rockhound. Rockhound: No really, cos it didn't... Harry Stamper: [shouting over Rockhound] Hey Rock! Rockhound: ...work out too well for the Coyote, Harry! Truman: We have a lot better rockets than the Coyote. ;D
