I CAN see some parallel between him and Randall here, though, in that the prolonged stress and lack of sleep Randall must have been enduring CAN produce physical illness as well as behavioral illness. It isn't so much a matter of having a "dark side", since that still implies a CHOICE between good and evil, and a person who is physically ill is at the mercy of their bodies moreso than their sense of morality. pitbulllady So that's where the whole "Stitch Has a Glitch" things comes in, then.

Though it sounds a bit more than a glitch to me...Disney has a talent for understatement.

Who's making this again? Chris? Because something of this emotion can't be made by Disney alone.

Umm, well I know Chris Sanders did the voice of Stitch, but did not write or direct this sequel. There's a list of completely different people who directed it, but that all work at Disney, I think. Oh, and I just saw that the original Lilo and Stitch was nominated for an Oscar! Amazing!

Yeah, I read that too -- that and the whole discussion here is REALLY whetting my appetite; and the reviews on Amazon.com from those who've actually seen the movie are very positive, as well. I am so, sincerely hoping "L&S 2" delivers the goods, as the signs seem to indicate. The only thing I have a beef with so far, really, is that awful DVD cover art (not to mention the fact that this won't be a theatrical release). ~Light Rises

Well, I think it may just be a very well made movie, and I am with you Sean: I PRAY Chris is directing/ and or writing it. I'm excited, I think my little sis and I will have a movie night.

I have to look..YIPES! Honestly, you guys aren't kidding. I guess they just hire cover artists quickly, and go with the first draft that doesn't look terribly terribly bad. I suppose it's just past of the race to pump out as many low budget sequels on Video as possible and collect their winnings faster.
WOAH! WOAH WOAH WOAH! Dakota Fanning? WHAT? No! Why couldn't Ms. Chase have done it? Becoming a "serious" actress? Don't get me wrong, she's talented, but that movie kind of propelled her into some spotlight. Also, I am a big Dakota Fanning fan, she is a terrific and amazing actress, but just does not sound...the same.
What's up with that?

Daveigh Chase opted out because she herself felt that her voice had changed too much to come across as a little six-year-old girl, which is about how old Lilo would be in this sequel. From what I hear(I am about to go in search of the sequel at Wal-Mart), Dakota Fanning does a great job.

Daveigh Chase is the extremely talented and versitile young(in her teens now)actress who provided Lilo's voice in the original "Lilo and Stitch" movie and in the tv series. She first took on that role at the age of 12. Dakota Fanning is another young actress who has stepped into her shoes, so to speak, in providing Lilo's voice in the sequel, "Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch".

A new voice? Hmm...well...from the previews, seems like she is REALLY close to the original.
