More like DISNEY has a glitch. The sequel's out straight to video sometime later this month. Yeeeeha.
You wanna know how long this 'full-length movie' is?

Hmm.... Well...is it part of the series? Well either way...is the same guy who made Stitch directing it?
Hey... Something I just wanted to ask... Mel might like this.
Is the same person's voice who does Pleakly (spell?) the same one who does Waffle on Cat Scratch (Nick)?

The sequel was animated in the Sydney, Australia, studio, not done by the people who make the tv series, and will actually be set BEFORE the series, just shortly after Stitch's arrival here on Earth. The animation is much closer to that of the original movie, and Chris Sanders does still provide Stitch's voice. One of the members of our L&S group has seen a screening(she's a Disney cast member)and she loved it; she said it was very true to the original movie in terms of writing, emotion, and animation, and nothing like the tv series, though all of us were disappointed when we learned that it was direct-to-DVD.

I guess the fact that it was straight to video/DVD made me automatically think that it's gonna be a really rubbish film (and there's also the fact that it's a sequel) but I guess I should wait to see it before I judge. I wish they had tried to get it as a cinema release, though, if it really is that good.

Well I thought it would be part of the series....
GAH! Disney stole my 301 idea didn't they! What!? It starts right after the series start.

Actually, the sequel and NOTHING to do with the series, and it takes place BEFORE the events of the series. There are no other Experiments in the sequel, just Stitch, and I don't even think they are mentioned.

Now you see. THIS would be perfect for Randall too!
Stitch is fighting the good and bad versions of himself, trying to gain control of what he would have become (A destroyer of life), and what he is (a part of Lilo's family). Sadly, Randall let his darkside get control of him before.....and I can't help but wonder what would happen if Stitch's dark side took over him...

The difference is that Stitch, unlike Randall, was created to be evil and destructive. In the upcoming sequel, it's not so much a struggle against two different sides of him, something we ALL face, but a struggle to survive. His problems are biological in nature; his molecular structure is unstable because Jumba did not get to put the necessary "finishing touches" on him, and Stitch's body is basically breaking down, physically, leading him to act out uncontrollably. From what I hear from this review and a handful of others who have seen it, Stitch comes really close to dying. He would be like a person with a brain tumor doing or saying bad things, and having no idea why, and not having any control. I CAN see some parallel between him and Randall here, though, in that the prolonged stress and lack of sleep Randall must have been enduring CAN produce physical illness as well as behavioral illness. It isn't so much a matter of having a "dark side", since that still implies a CHOICE between good and evil, and a person who is physically ill is at the mercy of their bodies moreso than their sense of morality.

The power of darkness takes over when survival in neccessary.
Stitch's biological purpose was destruction. When one is on the verge of...well...neccesarily dying...the dark side takes over in an attempt to take control, convincing it's host that death is inevitable...
Ehh...it's still very complicated to me like everyone else...
