Studio Ghibli's latest creation, Howl's Moving Castle...ROCKS! It's just so amazing- the animation is INCREDIBLE, the story-line is inspired, and the characters are so unique! I can't froth enough about this amazing film!

Uh...would you mind providing some sort of link? I love animation films (waiting for SteamBoy to come out). What's it about.

Well, the website was presented by Disney, though the film is nothing to do with them- disney.go.com/disneypictures/castle/The film is about a girl called Sophie who has a spell cast on her by the Witch of the Waste because she is pretty, even though Sophie doesn't think so herself. The spell makes her look like an old lady, so Sophie leaves her home town in search of a new place to live. On the way there, she bumps into Howl's moving castle- a castle on legs! Howl is a wizard, and becomes close friends with her. The adventure gets more complicated, but a character that HAS to be noted is Calcifer- voiced in the English version by none other than Billy Crystal! He's actually REALLY good as Calcifer, a fire demon who gives the castle energy.

I think the reason Studio Ghibli let Disney present the website is because Ghibli's very Japanese, and it would be quite painstaking to have to translate the whole website, so they let Disney get on with it. But seriously, Billy Crystal rocks in this film. ;D

I haven't gotten the chance to see it yet, but I'm DYING to! If it's anywhere near as good as Spirited Away, or even Kiki's Delivery Service, I'll be more than content.^^ I think the reason Studio Ghibli let Disney present the website is because Ghibli's very Japanese, and it would be quite painstaking to have to translate the whole website, so they let Disney get on with it. But seriously, Billy Crystal rocks in this film. ;D Well, what happened was that Disney made a deal with Studio Ghibli a few years back, which entailed Disney marketing both the theatrical and video releases of Miyazaki films (past and present) in the US, as well as being in charge of the English production/dubbing of the films. So, it's sort of like the distribution deal Disney and Pixar have, but it really isn't. Did...that make any sense? *headscratch* And, yeah, I can TOTALLY see Billy Crystal kicking butt in this film. Regardless of my feelings about Mike, I think Billy is a stupendous entertainer and voice actor.^^ ~Light Rises

Hey! Miyazaki! I LOVE his work!
Spirited Away was simply breath taking, and Kiki's Delivery Service gave the insight into a young witch's life.
Well...Pixar back's up Miyasaki as well. Lassener (err...) really enjoys his work.

OH! By the way! When we went to get Robots a few days ago, I FOUND an animated comic book of Howl's castle!!! Judging from the work in this book....dang...I can't help but wonder what the film's like!

Man, I really want to see this movie. I've seen as many of his other movies as I can (ever see Princess Mononoke? That's a DEEP movie....And awesome to boot). I also have the Spirited Away soundtrack on my iPod (LOVE the "Dragon Boy" theme).
I have a couple of AnimeMusicVideos on my computer from Howls' Moving Castle, and the animation looks awesome, as is all of Miyazaki's films. Is it out in video, or what, now?

What about America?
Hmm...that mean's it'll be here soon!
So it's not a direct-to-video then? Does it have english audio?

Direct-to-video? God no! Hardly any Ghibli films are direct to video! And yeah, it has Englsish audio- I can't really hear Billy Crystal speaking Japanese.
