A dead door was one where the kid is no longer afraid. But if the monster is a good comediane, then the kid should laugh even as an adult. So will doors be kept open permanently?

Interesting question. Probably....not. There will probably be a census of the kids scared, and which more common age they seem to lose their fear. And that would be probably the age limit for how long they'll keep the door. Then again being a comedian is a bit idiotic. From what Wazowski was doing, parents would hear the comotion and come in, and that would lead to less and less doors.

"Not only that....leaves people like me without a job!!"
Heheh, he's still sore about that ^_^ No, see, the point is....
A) Its for a longer period of time that they have to remain in the room B) Considerably longer time of noise being made as well, unless one's REALLY good. C) Its FAR easier to startle someone than it is it make them laugh, you have to have SPOT ON on the fly stuff to get someone to laugh RIGHT away, but al lyou have to do is come up behind someone unawares to startle them.
So yeah.....don't see it lasting.

"Yeah Boggs, but my point still stands....Wazowski was NOT a Scarer....as far as I knew he bought those cars himself, as Sulley seemed to have an 'aversion' to driving anyways. Besides, Sulley lived in a small flat....that AIN'T the high life so I'd say those 'perks' weren't as good as you're saying with him. He made minor pay after all."
