Unless I'm mistaken, it's five years today since the happenings of MI. Strange how time flies, huh?

O.O wow, i knew it was long, but it doesn't seem like that long. i remember the day it came out, my sister was moving into a new house and mom had promised me we would go see it (i had been waiting for it for quite a while, and mom wanted to see it too) but we had to stay and watch my sister's kids. i was really let down, but i got to see it with my friends the next weekend. it still doesn't feel like 5 years. well, anyway WOOT for MI!!! five years of Randall!!! my school let our class see it at the movies for a Christmas present that year. it was great. i remember talking to my best friend that night because he really didn't want to see it and he said he really didn't like it after we watched it. but he said "I hated it, the only good thing about the movie was Randall. The rest of it was gay." (sorry about the gay but im quoting a 11 year old boy and that is what he said. he also went on to say a lot of other things about Mike and Sully that im sure wouldn't be aloud on this board). aww, reminiscing. i miss being young.

Yeah, I remember when I first saw it. The cinema was so packed, we had to sit in the front row!
Lol, beelz, I know what you're saying!

it was packed when i went too. but we wanted to sit up front anyway. our theaters are so bad. i've been to nice ones, that the rest of the world seems to have. ones that have the seats that go up high and are level with the screen and you don't have to worry about someone sitting in front and blocking your view. man, wish i could move. i still can't believe that it's been that long! i was thinking back the other day and i realized that MI was the first DVD i've ever watched and owned. I just got the PS2 and i had a few games and no DVDs, but when that one came out i got it right away and well, it's such a great DVD. i wish all of them were like that, it has so much extra features to offer. and for someone who wants to be in the movie making business , it means a lot.
but really FIVE years!!! time flys...

Any speculation on how the Monster World has been changing over the last half decade?
