I had a bit of an interesting conversation with my therapist today. (YESIAMAGEEKBOOHOOOHWELLYO.) I remarked on the MI stickers she had somewhere in her office, and she replied by saying, "Yes, my son did the music for it." "O____o REALLY?!" quoth I in my most intellectual response. Wow. Small world. Turns out he's been working on the music for every Disney film since Mulan. Double wow. I attempted to get some info out of her, but she said it's all top-secret, of course...and the last time she saw anything was the storyboards for Lilo and Stitch before it came out. (She saw the musical notes for Brother Bear, too. It's her son's favorite piece of work.) But she did suggest I write people and let my Randall fandom be known. So, that was a good session. Now I just need to get in therapy with the guy that'll take over Eisner's spot and I'll be set.

Every ask her if she could give our word (overall) out in case her son talks to them again?

Cool, we know cool people! That makes us cool too! *insecurity of poetic insecurity* Heh, my friend's uncle worked on Star Wars too; now my friend has one of the original Storm Trooper helmets in his room. I didn't get to ask her today, since I was literally walking out the door, but I'm going to next week---you bet.

Well, not exactly, but I drive there often---the famous teaching hospital, Johns Hopkins? That's where one of my doctors are. So I live near enough in some ways, yes.

I think this is amazing, wonderful news! Many years ago, back when I was going through all this mess(somewhat similar to what Randall went through-having to work for a slave-driving boss who hated my guts and tried to make me break the law, yada yada), with what was going on at work, my mother's death, severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder left over from Hurricane Hugo, et all, I ended up having to see a therapist on a regular basis for awhile. Mine wasn't nearly as interesting and didn't have any important contacts, though! Isn't it neat what a small world we're in? One of my former students was a background illustrator/animator on the original "Lilo and Stitch"; I cannot think of a more wonderful way to repay his ole' Art teacher! Sadly, he was part of that group that was fired when the Orlando studio was shut down, as per Eisner's orders. I just hope he has found meaningful work that befits his talent elsewhere. Disney's loss is someone's gain.
Sean, I'm not quite clear on what you mean by "Randall and the law not going together". It makes him sound like someone who deliberately breaks laws and such, when we know he had no real choice. Sure, the law in HIS world might be willing to look the other way, rather than protect HIM, because of what he is, but that doesn't mean it would be like that EVERYWHERE! If Randall had the right legal representation, he could make a pretty darn good case against Sullivan and Wazowski!

Pitbulllady I didn't mean it that way.
You explaination of the law in his world "looking the other way" is close.
But there's allot you guys don't know about....parts of their law. Faintly, the only reason Sullivan got away with what he did was probably because of all the witnesses.
Oh boy...... You would all be shocked to learn what their law, along with the C.D.A., is really for....

Me? Stress-related illness? That's pretty much my middle name. But thanks so much for caring. Yeah, therapist, psychiatrist, gastroentologist, blah blah blah blah. >> I'm an unofficial schizophrenic. (They don't label you until you're an adult.) My family has a history of stress-related illnesses, and the uncle who's a lawyer was given two weeks to live a year or so back because of it. Thankfully he made a remarkable recovery...now I'm just doin' my best not to follow in his footsteps. ^_^ But my problems are no bigger than anyone else's, of course!
