I kinda got bored, so I thought I might share a little thought I had about the designs of Monsters Inc. Comment and see what you think.
I imagine Monsters Inc. to be a lot bigger than in the movie.
In Monsters Inc. , there are 120 scare room, each with 13 doors on 8 floors. I've thoght that those room would be grouped into a 'scare unit' of 8 scare room, one on the first floor, and two on the others. I imagine that on the first floor would be the offices, scarer and assistant scarer training room, and other rooms that make a business.
There would be the door vault, clearly the largest room in the entire building, allowing access to any door from any scare room on any station. (Pretty complex system)
In the basement areas, there would be the refinery, converting raw scream into the energy the city would use. (earplugs are highly reccommended) I would also imagine there being the research dept. (shh... its a secret department), under which through them is all the information of our world. They would be responsible for assinging certain kids to certain scarers, knowing when a child is ready to be scared, so a mechanical dept. can build a new door. and finally, there would be the Mechanical dept., which keeps things up and running. I mean, with all the equipment to maintain and repair, I would imagine that they would have to work every day in any part of the building to keep everything up and running smoothly.
... and probrably, in an ajacent building, there would be a Monsters Inc. control area, which would be the building that controls the flow of energy from Monsters Inc. to Monstropolis, and have all the access to the power. Like if someone didn't pay the bill, they cut the power on that one particular home, and that sort of thing.
Like I said, I got bored.
