I've been looking over massive piles of paperwork, Roz would certainly be happy, and studied Monsters Inc. payroll options that I thought I should share.
Seems that they follow the "Maximum Labor, Minimum Wage" deal... Scarers recieve a wage of $4.75 and hour, giving a total of $61.25 per day, given the shifts of fourteen hour's incriments.... I don't know what an incriment is...but I guess it just means daily or something...
Anyway.
When it comes to sick days, Monsters Inc. seems to be really geneours....
Ulimited Sick days, requiring a doctors note about two consecutive ones. And if you injuried (Which may seem actually pretty common given the "Days without Accident" count), you recieve FULL pay while you recover...
Just wanted to share my info ^_^

Um. I'd rather get more than 10 dollars per hour than unlimited sick days, even if they ARE paid, if its only minimum wage!

Sorry about that generous thing. I miss read at first.
"Now you see what I had to deal with....if it wasn't for the Top Scarer benefits..."

Actually, many businesses and industries DO have unlimited sick days, with a doctor's notice if you miss two consecutive days, as well as TWO YEARS of paid maternity leave. HOWEVER, there's a catch-they take those "unlimited sick days" off your vacation time, and you must report to work for a minimum of so many days(varies from company to company)in order to continue receiving other benefits, like health insurance. Many companies also pay full benefits in the form of Workmans Compensation if you're injured on the job, BUT it's up to you to prove that the injury was not in any way YOUR fault, which is difficult to do and usually requires hiring a lawyer. There's always a catch to these wonderful company claims, isn't it? With Monsters Inc. only paying Scarers minimum wage, they have to have some other incentive just to get anyone to work there, but the "fine print" shows that the deal isn't as great as it first looks.

And with Waternoose in charge, it's no wonder, is it?

I should change the post title. Anyway. Like said...at least Ran got the Top Scarer benefits. Then again...Waternoose did have his underhanded dealings.....but he suspeciously didn't spend much money on the Extractor...

Yeah, Randall had to make the Extractor out of bits and pieces from around the factory, didn't he?

"Thats right....the old....can I say fart?"
Yeah I guess....
"Yeah...well anyway....yeah....Mr. Cheap decided that, since this was an inside job, the cheapest way to make an extractor was out of company parts....and because of the engineering in the Refinary and Scare Floors fit the Extractor....I pretty much had to say it was lucky that the machine actually worked.....of course....a few things had to be ordered from outside the company though..."
Although....Waternoose wasn't the one to provide the parts.....
"...Wait...neither was I.....Sean did you..."
We'll talk later....
